I raced to my store this morning right at store opening in hopes of finding Parallel Striped Wunder Under Crops but unfortunately they weren't in yet. (note to the awesomest eds at Lululemon Coquitlam and Metrotown; you will see me daily stalking the cubbies until these are out). Instead I came out with the Brisk Bloom Cool Racerback. Its 96% Polyester unfortunately and so it has that feel to it. When I got home to try it on I was surprised at how opaque the white portions where though, usually white polyester Cool Racerbacks are completely sheer on me. I'm not a fan at all of the polyester prints but whatever they've done to change the formula from last year to make it thicker and slightly softer, I'm becoming more tolerant of these.
My second purchase today was the Open Your Heart LS in Heathered Black and White Stripe. I size down in the Open Your Heart LS tops to an 8 because they are quite long (still quite long sized down) and the Modal Fabric is guaranteed to stretch out significantly with wear. Just wearing this for 10 minutes it will stretch out almost an entire size. It doesn't stretch out in a sloppy looking way, but its a uniformed relaxing of the material. I've been extremely happy with my Raspberry and Deep Zinfandel ones I got last month which have washed and worn really well with no pilling.

I'm excited about tonights upload, mostly because I think I'm done Christmas shopping with the exception of my dads gift and so I can get a little something if a must have gets uploaded. Any ideas on dad gifts for me? He's tough to shop for because he has high expectations of thoughtful gifts. I have a fall back idea for him but its not a very thoughtful gift so I'm holding out for a better idea.

I forgot to mention today that my store had this new Open Your Heart Long Sleeve in today. If I hadn't already purchased a pair of Sorel Boots on killer mark down ($59!!!) I would have gotten this.
These are the boots I got for $59. If you are in Vancouver and are interested, I got them at Sterling. Sport Check also had them on sale but it was By One Get One.
Another wonky upload for me with the 'what's new' section of the website not uploading for me. 3 weeks in a row of not being able to see/access the uploads. I didn't order anything tonight but there are a few items catching my eye. I love the Assorted Stripe Surge CRB but know I just don't wear colorful wide stripes as pretty as they are. They just feel super flashy on. The new Open Your Heart LS was also tempting but I'm not going to bite. The Herringbone Base Runner 1/2 Zip is gorgeous but I don't love the overall design of that pullover. Did you order anything tonight?

My store had some new surprise items in today. The Solid Surge Cool Racerback is really nice, and made in Canada. I also saw two new Open Your Heart Long Sleeves, this Raspberry striped one and a black/grey striped one. The Pure Balance Sweater was in too and that one really, really tempted me in Deep Zinfandel reverse to Winter Orchid. I actually purchased the Pure Balance Sweater because I loved the color combo so much but then half way home realized that it looked pretty awful on me and I couldn't keep it just because of the color, so I returned it.
Open Your Heart Long Sleeve
I sized down in this one and am really glad I did because it relaxes quite a bit, almost a full size.
The first two photos of the Pure Balance Sweater (check out a readers fit review and photos of the Pure Balance Sweater here) are sized down to an 8 and it's still really loose fitting and boxy. The back hem is really long and entirely butt covering even sized down.
The reverse side is Winter Orchid (love the color) but the seams are Deep Zinfandel. I normally like the raw seam look in cottons (like the Open Your Heart LS) but I kind of hate the seams on the dropped shoulder.
Size 10, TTS Pure Balance Sweater was very big. It felt really billowy in profile.
Look at how long it is! Perfect to wear with leggings but my shape just can't pull off boxy tops.

I ended up trying these on again in a size down and they are still plenty long and so much better sized down. Love them and got Surge and Zinfandel.
I got to my store today (to get the sized down Open Your Heart Long Sleeve!) and didn't see the new Viransa Blanket Wrap but did see new solid Surge Cool Racerback Tanks. Super pretty but I'm going to wait on that one since I have Spry which seems kinda similar.
Not many clear shots of the Baroque Cool Racerback yet but I'm on the lookout for good pictures.
