Mrs. O's Fit Review:
Mind Over Miles Crop White
I love the style of this crop because of the mesh on the sides (sorry I forgot to take a side picture). I was hopeful it would not be sheer because it was double paneled. But it was. Sheer in my TTS and one size up. I purposely wear dark undies when testing light colored tights. I don't think the sheerness is as evident in the "bend test" pictures. In person, it was definitely sheer. I suppose if I wore nude undies and tore off the tag, the sheer factor wouldn't be as noticeable but I don't feel that I should have to alter what I wear underneath. If LLL is going to produce white tights, then they must make them opaque. I haven't tried on any white tights from other brands but I wonder if it's just the white color factor. These fit TTS.
These crops fit TTS. The deep color of Marvel fixed the sheerness factor. I really like the look of these crops. The waist band is thinner than the white pair because it is not double paneled. However, in Marvel and Black, the uppermost part of the waist band is tighter than a plain Luxtreme waist band. It appears to be made out of a slightly different, less giving material. So, while the tights fit fine everywhere, it dug into my my waist at the very top. If you look at the store photos LLM posted (the brunette wearing the Marvel crops), you can see what I'm describing. The white pair didn't do that. I took a picture of both waist bands side by side so you can see the slightly different fabric. LLL used the same fabric on top of the outside hidden pocket as well. The waist band was too uncomfortable for me. I would constantly be sucking in so I didn't have a muffin top. I'm sure it would work for the really toned, lean ladies out there.
I ordered (and tried on in the store) the Kindred Spirit Black WU (Luxtreme) because it wasn't made in the Fast and Free style. The GECs didn't think this pattern would come in Nulux in the Fast and Free Tight or Crop. I won't be taking off the tags for awhile in hopes that the GECs were wrong. This tight is NOT sheer like the Kindred Spirit Alpine White. The pattern was screen printed on light grey so when you do the bend test, you see the grey undertone but it is not sheer. I double checked throughout the store in different lighting. So, if this print never comes in Nulux, I will be keeping these WU.
This LS fit TTS. I really liked the laser cut ventilation panels and I like Luxtreme. I bought this LS and the white Swiftly LS Breeze. I feel that the Luxtreme doesn't drape as well as the Swiftly Breeze. And it's $10 more than the Swiftly Breeze. I took them home to decide. But I may end up returning both because of the draping issue of the Luxtreme, and the thin cuffs and no thumb holes on the Swiftly LS Breeze.
I know all of you know how the Hotty Hot Short fits but I wanted to see the new color, Quicksand. None of the stores received the Anew Short in Quicksand, which was what I originally wanted to try on. I'm really interested in the Anew Short because it is not lined and has a feminine touch to it. The Hotty Hot Short is not a short that fits me as well as Speeds and Tracker Short IV. I really like this new color. I hope it comes out in different items. I was told the Anew Short should arrive in stores sometime next week.
If you've never tried on Hotty Hot Shorts, these shorts are TTS. This pair was the 2.5" inseam. I tried on one size larger but the proportions were off. Hotty Hot Shorts also come in a 4" inseam but those shorts sit on my thighs funny like the Run Time Short does on me.
Do any of you ladies have an issue with the liners in the shorts? I find that the leg hem is too thick and creates a line causing a double butt or horrible VPL. The educators in the stores complained about it as well. I just learned that certain stores (depending on the tailor the store uses) will remove the inner lining from shorts. I was specifically told that the Santa Monica Third Street Promenade store (which has a tailor in house) will remove the liners. I also think Brentwood will also do it (but I need to confirm). I'm going to test it out on a pair of Speeds to see if I like it better without the liner. If I do, I'm taking all my shorts in.
I have never tried on any Lululemon swim wear so I decided to try on the swim shorts because I liked the lipstick color. These shorts are TTS. Because the material is very thin (probably for the fast drying factor) and clingy, I didn't think it looked that flattering. There is no liner and the shorts are short in the back (not like speeds where the back is a bit longer). I also think that this type of swim short is not flattering on my body type. It would look great on slimmer ladies. Also, because there is no lining, I'd feel self conscious if I went in the water and came out of it dripping wet. I would be afraid that the shorts would ride up and show my "secret" parts. LOL.

Mrs. O's Fit Review:
The sizing on this LS is S (size 2-4), M (size 6-8) or L (size 10-12). Since I'm a size 6 in the Swiftly LS, I tried on the M. It seems to be TTS. The problem I have with S, M or L sizing is that the M's start to stretch and get too loose. I have a tank in the same material and after a few wears, it starts to stretch and slide up. The scoop neck was nice but it'll always show your bra straps. I'm ok with that. But if you're not, it will probably bother you because there's no way to adjust the straps to hide them. (I'm wearing the Free to Be bra under the shirt. My favorite bra!). I'm not sure if I liked the sheerness of the back. But it is a nice lightweight LS to wear. Although the fabric looks delicate, it's much more sturdy than I expected. Beware; it will show all your bumps and lumps! If I needed a lightweight shirt, I probably wouldn't buy a long-sleeved one. I prefer the Swiftlies to the Reveal LS.
In Swiftly LS, my TTS is 6. This was TTS. I could wear the size 4 (because of the relaxed fit -- not too tight in the arm holes) but I liked the looser fit of the size 6. What I love about the Swiftly LS is the thumb holes. This version doesn't have thumb holes. The cuffs on the sleeves were so-so for me. I wish the cuff on the bottom of the shirt was wider. I'm undecided on this LS. But I know there are ladies out there that would love the no thumb hole aspect of this LS. I think I would like this shirt in white but the store didn't have my size. Since the weather is warming up, I'll probably pass for now.
I actually liked this short a lot because it didn't have a lining. I find the linings in the other shorts give me visible panty line. If they would make the lining in the women's shorts like the men's shorts it would be much nicer. Or, at least, a less elastic-y and thinner edge/hem on the liner. The length was nice and it was light weight. For the same price as other shorts, this one is great because it is reversible. I'll probably end up buying a few pairs. This short fit TTS for me. I believe the inseam is 2.5-3 inches. But I may try one size up to see if the legs are a bit looser but usually when I do that, the waist gets too loose.

Mrs. O's Fit Review:
I sized up in this tank because my TTS fit weird when it was tied in the front. It cuts too narrow around the shoulder and chest when it is tied in the front and looks like it's on backwards. When tied in the back, the front of the tank looks better. On the scooped neck side, the hem is more of a draped, curved hem, which I think is flattering. Again, even on the scooped neck side, I thought the shoulders were cut in too much. Unless you wore a true racerback bra, you would have to adjust your front bra straps so it fit properly under the tanks straps. I liked the fabric. It's similar to the Smooth Stride SS.
The WU in the arrow jacquard print is TTS. The print has texture but it feels smooth when wearing. The texture is on the outside rather than the underside. No problems with sheerness in my TTS. It's a much thicker fabric than the Nulux. I really love this print. I was told that the Inspire Tight II in this print never made it to the stores in the US. So, even though it is completely sold out online on the US site, it should be arriving in stores soon. But this is different from what the GEC told me over the phone. She said the entire print in the Inspire Tight II is sold out in the US. She was uncertain if another run will be made.
Surprisingly, the Crescent Tank fit better than I thought it would and I didn't hate it. I sized up from my TTS. My TTS was too cropped and it fit tighter than I liked. The fabric was light weight and very breathable. I suspect if you do any kind of movement, especially with arms up, it's going to creep up a lot. Although I can see myself wearing this around town on errands, I wouldn't spend that much money on a tank that would be ill fitting when working out. I know I would be constantly pulling it down.
This short fit TTS (size 6 in shorts). In the Jogger, I sized up from my TTS because in pants like these, I like them more relaxed. My TTS fit so it's really just a fit preference. Like the NTS Jacket, the cuffs are a bit tight the first time you put them on but they loosen up. The fabric felt nice and I liked the back zip pocket.
I suspected that I would not like the fit of the shorts or jogger because shorts/pants with pockets (such as these) tend to pull and pucker across the hips on me. Also, on me, the pockets show through the front of the fabric. It's just my body type. It doesn't matter what designer brand it is. With street clothes, I cut out the pocket and have them sewn down. I wouldn't do that with athletic pants because you need pockets.

Ms. S's fit review:
Just got back from my local Lulu store and tried on a few of the new items.
I was very excited about the Crescent Tank from the website, as I love the detail in the front. I tried in my TTS 10 which fit everywhere except length wise. Granted, I'm 5'9 so this too would be adorable in someone with a shorter torso, or someone who doesn't mind showing off their abs. Not for me- I've got a bit more work to do in my
midriff area before I start showing it off!
Next, the More Than Modal Crew. Again, too short for me. My normal 10 was a bit loose on me and I have a feeling this will be a size down item for most gals.
Lastly, Fast and Free Tight in the new alpine white. I have to admit, this pant has me changing my prior dislike of the Nulux fabric. They are incredibly
comfortable, but the alpine white was sheer in the rear for me and unflattering. I also tried on Navy, which fixed the sheerness issue. I've got too much navy already so i'm hoping they come out with this tight in a different color or pattern that I love. I've heard some people say they size down in Nulu, however I tried these on my TTS 10 and they felt great. The only way to know for sure though is to run in them and see if they fall down, which I didn't do!

Mrs. O's Fit Review:
I'm so very sad to report that this print is completely sheer, especially in my TTS. I sized up and it was still really sheer. The picture quality isn't great but I think you can see my underwear in the backside picture. I tried to take a picture doing the bend test but none of them came out so you could see how sheer it is. In person, the pattern was beautiful. Because I loved the print so much, I was thinking of sizing up to an 8 but I decided against it. With the Nulux fabric I really have to stay TTS because it starts to stretch and slip. I haven't had this problem with other prints which have a white underside. No problems with sheerness with the Concrete Jungle print in my TTS. Because of the sheerness factor, I have a feeling this will go to WMTM really quickly.

Mrs. O's Fit Review:
Well, my hubby is away on business so I didn't have my handy dandy photographer. Sorry, I couldn't get all the angles or pictures from behind. I'll keep practicing my photo taking while hubby is away. I wanted to share this fit review because I have been eyeing this jacket since I saw it online. Recently, I purchased a few items and I felt guilty going in to try on another item. I knew it was dangerous because once I tried it on, I knew I would want it. But I threw all caution to the wind!
This jacket is TTS but I could have sized up too. The GEC said I could do either size but she felt my TTS fit a bit better in the torso. I agreed. Also, because I could wear my Cadence Crusher Hoodie underneath it, I thought going TTS would be fine. But you should try TTS or size up to check what fit you prefer. The cuffs and waistband is formed from the spacer fabric. (Really cool). So, it's one piece rather than an added cuff/waistband. The cuff is a bit tight when first putting your hand through but loosens up the more you pull your hand through it. I like the grey color better because you can see the contrast between the jacket and zippers. The navy color has navy zippers. As you can see, I ended up buying it!

Mrs. O's review:
I was really looking forward to trying on these shorts because of the high waist and length. Once on, I was very disappointed. I don't think this fabric is good for shorts, unless you have really skinny legs. It just pulled weird because it was too think. Generally, I am a Speed girl. The only other short with this length I can wear is the Tracker Short IV. My favorite short is the Featherlight Short (currently on MD) because of the high waist, the boy short underneath (so no panty lines like the Speed or Tracker Short) and fit. I didn't discovery them until recently and bought them in both colors. I wish they'd make more in different colors. This short is a definite pass for me because of my body type but I can see it looking great on others.
The Smooth Stride Tank fit better than the shirt. I really like this green color and might consider getting the tank, unless a better tank is made in the same color. Does anyone have recommendations of items for me in this color?
