Mrs. O's fit review:

I might be a little biased because I love Nulux.  It feels like I'm wearing nothing.  My store didn't have my TTS 4 so I tried on a 6.  Nulux starts to stretch on me and fall down when I work out.  My TTS isn't sheer for me.  Because the underside of this Nulux pattern is white, when it stretches (bend test), it can appear to be sheer but what you are seeing is the white backing.  When I try on a non-black Nulux tight, I always wear dark underwear to test if it sheer.  Make sure to try on TTS and a size down to see what fits better.  The tight has various shades of blue in the design so in person, it appears to be more blue than grey.  I was told that Lululemon will be making more items in Nulux, including tanks and tops.

  1. It's just crazy to me that people that even say they love Nulux admit that it doesn't perform very well. My LLL purchases have already dropped of precipitously, so if more Nulux is on the horizon they'll be getting even less of my money.

    1. I should have clarified my statement. If I do not wear my TTS, it starts to stretch and fall down because it is too big. (Some of my other LLL tights will work even if they are a size 6). When I wear TTS, I have no problems with Nulux. I've run, walked, climbed stairs (Baldwin Hills stairs) and taken Pilates classes without any problems.

    2. I mostly wear Nulux too and bottom now for all my runs. I've Never had issues w them. I have issues w luxtreme since they pill easily. I bought those tights and wore them to yoga. I too feel like I have nothing on. Nulux also perform very well for me.

    3. Luxtreme pills easily? Did you mean Luon? I personally hate Luon because of that reason

    4. I tried my TTS (size 6) and a size 4 before purchasing my Nulux tights. I could not fit into size 4, so I bought my TTS. Never had I such a badly performing fabric in my life. I'm not going to keep the pair I have, obviously. It's an awful feeling when in the middle of lifting weights those darned tights start sliding down. I never had any pilling problems with the many luxtreme pants/tights I have. If I wear a cotton top, there's a slight pilling on the waist of my luon bottoms, but using a fabric shaver and avoiding cotton tops is helpful.

    5. I had problem with my nulux bottoms and returned them but the manager convinced me to re-try them in my smaller tts and did the swap for me. That worked perfectly for me, no sliding down issues. I tested them on my bowflex ( can't run anymore knee issues) and doing yoga. I particularly liked them for yoga ( prefer to wear speeds for the bowflex) so I kept them. I saw the jungle ones above in store today and really liked the shades of blue in them. It's a really nice print in person and if they weren't $128 + tax I would have picked them up as they would have looked good with the midnight navy swiftly tank or my sit in lotus sweater in inkwell...,

    6. Anon 1:57- I did mean LUXTREME. Parts of my Luxtreme tights are fuzzy. After about 2 months twice a week wearing them hard like boot camp class and running, the tights get fuzzy on front of my thighs and the stitchings. They also get fuzzy on the knees. I still wear luxtreme but I now prefer NULUX

  2. I love Nulux and I do everything in mine. Running, Spin, Boot camps and Weights. I've never had an issue with them falling down or being sheer. I purchased the WU in the Concrete Jungle but will probably be returning as I was told by GEC that the fast and free should be releasing in that print on Tuesday and I love that style.

    1. I like Fast and Free, too. Now to decide between Concrete Jungle and the fern print they have "teased" on the masthead for 7/8 pants. I feel like I'll enjoy the ferns a lot longer. I hope they also have Concrete Jungle's blue tones.

    2. I love the Fast and Free tight! I can't wait until the concrete jungle print is released. I also really like the fern print too . . . what to do? I already have so many LLL tights.

Thanks for the heads up Anon @12:27pm

  3. I have not had any problems with Nulux either. I spin and do barre classes in them. They have held up much better on the bike than Luxtreme. Most of my Luxtreme bottoms end up pilling from the saddle while I have consistently worn the Nulux for 4-5 spin classes per week and have no pilling. I also find them to be more breathable than Luxtreme.

    1. yes!! I agree. I have the same experience with luxtreme. pilling all over the butt and crotch area from spin class. My Nulux NEVER PILL. They are great material. I love Nulux.

  4. I love the lightweight cool feeling of the nulux. I have experienced slipping with the high rise wup version. The waistband is so wide that the lack of structure makes it stretch out really quickly and therefore slip. I have the dazzle and flux marble ones and both slip. I do have nulux in speed wunder and feather light tight and don't have issues with them but waistband is not as wide and had more structure. I find if I can get a sweat in quickly the wups tend to stay in place. I have jogged in them and have done body pump. Ed said that maybe not good for yoga ad my feet will slip on fabric for some poses. Some have suggested sizing down but I'm afraid of sheerness issue potentially plus they are snug to get on at first.

  5. I love Nulux, it feels amazing against your skin. No pilling or slipping issues here. I have 3 pairs, Mixed marble and Like Nothing in black and purple( I tjinkbdarkest magenta, but not sure). I wish they were priced at $08. I bought all mine on either md or with Lulu $25 gc from last fall. Couldn't bring myself to pay $128.. as far as these print in not a fan and won't be buying even at $98
