Reader Review: In A Cinch LS Tee

Our wonderful reader and commenter Ms. R found the In A Cinch LS Tee in her store (US) and she's been kind enough to share try on photos of the LS. I love cotton modal and have several tops from Lululemon from the past two years so this one is tempting me. I'm not 100% sure about how I feel about the neck and wether or not it will be fussy for me but I really love everything else about this one. *Ms. R did not buy this although she loves the Open Your Heart LS from last year, the price increase to $98 is excessive.

  1. The prices for the tops in particular are definitely laughable as of late. At least don't call it a "tee" if you're going to charge $98 for it.

    1. I agree $98?!?! I'd rather spend $28 more and get a Lulu jacket. :) LOL

  2. Thanks for this post! Are those the only two color ways available?

  3. I absolutely love my open your heart that I got in the same purple last year. I hate that it doesn't have the thumbholes, I'm glad they changed that for this release. I know I'll be purchasing this one too! I also saw this new vinyasa in one of the Edmonton stores today, it's very pretty!

  4. That price point is foul. The Open Your Heart was "only" $68. There is nothing that warrants a $30 increase for the In A Cinch especially considering it's probably from the same bolt of fabric - the colours are exactly the same from last year! I like it but there's no way I'm paying that price point.

    1. Completely agree. No way worth 98. I won't buy it at that price. I was thinking 78 (given 68 for OYH) or worst case 88.

  5. Looks cozy and I love my OYHs but agree $98 is highway robbery. $78 would have been ok given the detailing (vs $68) but this will
Not sell at that price point. And what's with all the peplum backs? Hello some of us have (firm and fit but bigger) booties and it looks heinous!

  8. The shirt is an easy pass as it is just unattractive and unappealing. I would not pay full price nor would I buy it on wmtm.

    The vinyasa looks nice.

  9. I tried on the It's A Cinch yesterday and also did not buy. Although it is a tad thicker than a tee, the seams were shabby, and I didn't like the front seam going down the whole front of the top. It just did not do anything flattering to my body. I couldn't figure out what to do with the collar, either. Let it lay, scrunch it up, roll it down??? I was not rocking it and not spending my hard earned $ on it. I tried on the purple, which was Heathered Deep Zinfandel.

Some items are random old colors and returns of last year's exact items. I wonder if Lulu held some items due to the port issues earlier this year...

  10. I love Open Your Heart I, not so much II. Still don't get why they had to change it. But this top is not doing ANYTHING to me. Hopefully there'll be more items to get excited about!

  11. The price for a simple top is ridiculous. Like the &go jacket. I can see a waterproof fully functional running or cycling jacket being expensive. They make everything water resistant which makes you damp in a quick 30 minute outing. Their emphasis has gone to being a 'high fashion' casual wear company. They have left their grassroot followers that are active behind and as a consequence their company is failing so they raise prices to compensate. Not working lulu! There is a target knockoff to this top at a more reasonable price point.
