Polar Pink Run Times compared to Ultraviolet Free To Be Wild
Yesterday there was a discussion [Here] in the comments section about the similarity between Polar Pink and Ultraviolet and one reader awesomely sent me a color comparison to share with those of you curious. Thanks to Ms. S for the great photo!
My blogger project for the day was setting up my camera so that I could streamline downloading photos (it's a WIFI camera without HDMI cables and it has to go to a dedicated Canon website album) and make it so that I could easily use my camera for fit review posts on Mondays in a way that is as easy and quick to process as using my iPhone had been. Hello iCloud and instant photo streaming onto my computer. I hope to provide you guys with crisper, quality pictures and truer colors for fit reviews. I want you guys to know that I really take your comments and critiques seriously and when I can I try to implement your suggestions. I really hope Monday's product drop photos are an upgrade for you guys. In the meantime, my first photo for the blog upgrade was this color comparison of Heathered Muted Mauve to very similar Heathered Purple Fog and Heathered Barkberry. As you can see, this is a color family I really love. Another day of running around driving everywhere meant that I couldn't spend very much time at the store today but when I walked in to quickly do my returns I saw the Sapphire Blue Daily Practice Jacket that had uploaded this morning and I had to bring it home for a try on. Online I wasn't sure how close the color was to Pigment or Wish (my top favourite lulu colors) and thought it was probably more washed out in person and not so much a jewel tone. In person, this color reminds me so much of Wish Blue (from 2010ish) and it is absolutely a jewel tone (Duh! Sapphire!!). I wish I had a solid Wish Blue item to compare it to but all I have is a Lively Tee in Heathered Wish. Trying it on at home I had the immediate urge to yank the tags off but I've decided to wait a few days just in case we see a Define Jacket in this color. I'm not sure what item of the two I'd prefer but I'd like to have my pick.
The fit is honestly a bit snug in the tummy and at first I wished I had tried on the 12 in store because I may have gone with that. It is quite comfortable and fits well throughout, it's just pretty close to the body around my mid section which is where I'm most self conscious. I'm starting a Whole 30 on September 1st though so I think ultimately I'm better off sticking with the 10 if I decide to keep the Daily Practice Jacket.

Hard to tell because Wish Blue is heathered here but I'm pretty sure this is the closest match.
Cyber Stripe Naval Blue High Times Pant TTS 10
I'm not nutty about stripe placement but somehow I ended up lucky with a pair that has all the stripes lined up even though I ordered online. These are an incredibly soft knit texture and although thick and smoothing it's not really compressive. They are very cozy and I find the color and pattern very flattering. Definitely would like to keep these.
A quick comparison photo of the Cranberry In Flux Jacket to the Bumbleberry Dance Studio Jacket. The colors are very, very similar with Bumbleberry having a slight pink undertone and Cranberry being more of a true red. If you missed out on Bumbleberry, Cranberry will should fit your craving.
My store got the Iris Flower Roll Down Wunder Under Crops in today so I brought them home so that I can give you a proper color comparison and fit review. All my other Roll Down WU's I've sized down to an 8 without sacrificing opacity but these ones where slightly sheer in size 8 but totally opaque in my TTS 10. Unfortunately with these light creamy colors you do tend to see cellulite - not due to sheerness but because of shadowing on the lighter color. I've included a self sacrificing butt shot here for you so that you can see the cellulite issue. I'd be fine wearing this with a longer butt covering top but I rarely do that for working out in so these will probably go back, although I did love them.
Here is a color review with the Roll Down Wunder Unders in Bruised Berry and a Power Purple Cool Racerback. Of the three, I like Iris Flower the best but the difference between Iris Flower Roll Down Wunder Unders and Bruised Berry Roll Down Wunder Unders are pretty nuanced and I feel like a crazy lady keeping both colors in the same cut. I'd justify it if it was a completely different item but my fanatisism does in fact know bounds.

Solid Gator Green is such an awesome neutral that pairs really well with tons of unexpected colors. Pinks, oranges, purples. I also love that this is a color that can be worn casually or for working out in.

We have another awesome color comparison tonight thanks to reader Ms. B who got the Grapefruit Power Y and happened to have Flare Wunder Under Crops as well. I love color comparisons when the materials are the same. You really get the sense of the tonal differences when the colors are close which can get a bit washed out with sheen in certain fabrics or heathering. I post comparisons with whatever I have on hand but if it's luon to luon all the better. Thanks Ms. B!

I was surprised to see my Regal Plum Cool Racerback that I ordered Wednesday morning on my doorstep this afternoon. For some reason I wasn't expecting it to arrive until Tuesday, after our Victoria Day long weekend, so this was a nice surprise.
I have Tender Violet and I wondered if the colors where too similar. TV is definitely more on the purple side while RP is much more pink. I definitely love Regal Plum and am glad it's more pink.

Thanks to Ms. Y for sharing this color comparison photo. I have a Currant Cool Racerback (my only red) and I think Bumble Berry is different enough to justify it. It's definitely more of a cranberry red.
Woohoo!! Thanks to an awesome reader for tipping me off that Vancouver stores got the Bruised Berry and Heathered Opal Cool Racerbacks in. I picked up both, but I'm only going to keep Bruised Berry now that I'm home and compared Heathered Opal to Heathered Menthol and Bali Breeze. The material on the Heathered Opal is much more subtly heathered than menthol, and its also slicker. It's not exactly icky feeling (47% Polyester), but its not as nice feeling or looking as Heathered Menthol and compared to the two other colors it is rather insipid. The Bruised Berry is divine though. Thick and stretchy, all Nylon Lycra and very opaque.
I went with my usual Cool Racerback size in both, size 10. I don't normally wear my CRB's with jeans because, well, muffin top, but for the purposes of quick fit review here they are.
*I forgot to mention. Both tanks are reversible and even have the old variegated stitching. It looks like both are dark grey to light grey variegated but the Bruised Berry is actually a dark purple variegated.

Yay! My Monday night order arrived and thank goodness something didn't make the cut and can be returned.
First off, the Chai Time (original version) is a winner. It is sheer, and very light and definitely summer weight vs the Chai Time II which is thicker and definitely winter weight. Its something to throw on over a cool racerback or power y and it looks fantastic with jeans. I have the Original Chai time (shown below) which I've worn the hell out of and to tell you the truth, I have not babied it at all. Every time we go glamping (camping with a trailer) I pack this sweater along and its what I wear in the evenings at the campfire and to the beach. My original though is a size 8 and I wish I'd stuck to size 10 in it because its definitely shorter (mind you I'm sure its taken a few turns in the dryer). For how much thinner this Boolux knit is it has not snagged at all while my thicker Chai Time II has snagged. This new Barely Pink version I got in my size 10 and its not too different from my 8 but its got the length and slouch I want.

The Opal Dance Studio Jacket I ordered is going back for sure. The color is pretty and if you missed out on the Bali Breeze version than this is definitely worth your time. I think my Bali Breeze fits a bit looser too but I'm not sure. When I tried on the Deep Zinfandel DSJ that was out a month or so ago it also felt snugger. I like Bali Breeze better because its much more green and blue, where as Opal tends more towards Aquamarine I think (I don't have that color to compare it too). Had it been a mintier greener color I would have considered keeping it but I don't feel the online photo is accurate at all.
I ended up ordering the Bruised Berry DSJ on Monday night which was uploaded to the US site. I have an address in the US I can use but I tend to reserve it for only 'sure thing' purchases because making returns is a pain since you can only do an exchange for cross border purchases, plus I have to drive out there to pick it up. I already had a package waiting for me in Blaine so I opted to give it a try. I'm likely to keep Bruised Berry and forget about the Pigment that I'd been eyeing which is currently only in Australia.

Some color comparisons with Very Green and Bali Breeze. The Bali Breeze Cool Racerback is a bit lighter than the jacket so thats probably why it looks a lot closer to Opal.
