This is a pretty good shot of the newest Heathered Dewberry Define Jacket that just came out. This one is just sooo pretty. I wonder if there will be a Heathered Royal Define like the Heathered Royal Stride Jacket? I can't seem to remember if lulu usually makes the same colorway Defines and Strides/In Strides. Also, I sort of wish both of these jackets were made of the same Pearl Luxtreme as the Cool Racerback Tanks. I didn't love the Static Wish CRB when it was out yet in the winter yet I'm really drawn to the pearl luxtreme royal which is pretty similar to that CRB with the exception of the sparkle and it being low maintenance luxtreme vs. luon. Hmmmm, maybe a Pearl Luxtreme Define Jacket would be too flashy.
I was told today by a store educator that we will be seeing Cool Racerback Tanks and Modern Racers with this Feather Print very soon. I really love the feather print much more then the Ghost printed CRB that was out last week so I'll probably get at least the Modern Racer, the CRB too if it's not a poly blended one. The Feather Print and Bird motif is very hot this fall with several other brands participating in all things avian.

I recently tried on the solid Surge Blue Let it Loose Tank and really, really loved it a lot more then the No Limit Tank on me. The fit was just a lot more flattering and the combination of sheer luon over a luxtreme bra was divine. I'm feeling really tempted by the heathered dewberry version of the tank since the heathered dewberry looks a lot less saturated and more plumy here. I suspect the inner bra is luon light and not luxtreme as the printed bra versions (space dye/wee stripe) tend to be luon light. Ah well, I'm sure the difference in comfort is pretty minimal. I think I would have loved this even a little more if the inner bra was the same color as the outside.

I'm so excited about this new Surge Wee Stripe Cool Racerback Tank (now in some US stores) since my top favourite CRB's are my Power Purple Wee Stripe and my Coal Strata Stripe. Most of the striped CRB's seem to have a soft cottony feel due to the lack of polyester and possibly the heathering effect. I really hope this tank is the same softness as the other ones I have because I love the color. This one is also reversible so that the other side has the logo and the contrast stitching. I'm glad there hasn't been a price increase for the extra logo placement because I wear most of my CRB's with contrast stitching inside out and right side in and am not bothered by the lack of a logo on the reverse side.

I've heard from several educators that we will be seeing a new long sleeve manifesto print. I have a feeling it's this Manifesto Message In a Bottle print that just came in a product alert. I like this manifesto so much more then the Snellen Eye Test print we saw in early 2010 in the Manifesto V Neck. I thought I really hated Manifesto Prints in general but it turns out I like it in the more whimsical text. Also, the blue shown below (darker) is called Surge and the light text is toothpaste. I've been told by a birdie we will be seeing more items in those colors as well. Can't wait! I'm really liking that darker blue.

or 'snellen eye test' print as I liked to call it.
I hated this print and hated the burnout that ripped in every single top before it left the store.
At first glance I'm really liking this print, but I felt the same way about unicorn tears and in person I ended up hating the Unicorn Tears. At least in the first run of the print in the multi color version. I think I would like this print in a Modern Racer Tank but other then that I may sit this print out. The Scoop Neck is very pretty with the black contrasting on it.
I seem to have a weakness for the striped Cool Racerback Tanks. I keep kicking myself for not getting the Iris Wee Stripe one (and the Split Pea) but I passed since I have the Power Purple Wee Stripe and they're kind of similar. What I love about them is that they seem to have a softer brushed feel and a looser luon weave blended with more Nylon so it feels a lot more cottony. I gravitate to wearing those ones more out of all my CRB's. The wee stripe and variations of the stripe really turn them into great neutrals which are great for layering. I'm feeling tempted by this one, especially if in person the base color reads more sandy taupy and less white.
Black Citron Tinted Canvas and Tango Red In Strides are starting to trickle onto US store facebook pages. A reader that spotted Tango Red today states that it's a true candy apple vibrant read. Also confirmed by another reader who was told by a lulu designer that Tango Red is indeed a true red and not an orange red.
This print is called Black Citron Tinted Canvas Super on Heathered Blurred Grey. It's quite similar to Unicorn Tears except this print looks like it was made (back to my Fine Arts days, I knew that degree would come in handy) with watered down acrylic or gauche paint brushed over unprimed canvas while Unicorn Tears was ink diffused in water. I know, I know, who cares...but this stuff interests me. I may like this print in a Modern Racer Tank. I've given up hope of seeing Cool Racerbacks with prints that aren't heavy on the polyester blends so I'd like to see this in a Modern Racer Tank instead.
Such a gorgeous print. I'm gravitating to ones with more black and softer colors on it but I know some of you really like the more colorful portions best. I like the way the black pattern sits just below her bust on the left side, it looks very slimming. I think that is how I will judge which distribution I like best.
This came in from an Australian Product Notification. I love this Iris color which looks like a mauvy brown purple but I also love the stripe for it's potential softness factor. I find Heathered Wee Stripe/Micro Stripe prints to be as soft as running luon for some reason. The Cool Racerback Tank is wishlisted!
And while I was there I saw Unicorn Tears and a magical color called Viola!
