Today I actually wore my Coastal Tank to its full functionality and I am pretty darn impressed with its versatility. I wore it to the gym for 6am Crossfit for a particularly sweaty and gruelling workout, it performed beautifully and was cool and sweat wicking (cooler even than a 105F Singlet). From there I wore it to school drop off with my kids and morning volunteering in the classroom, and after that I went swimming in it with my toddler. The Cool Racerback has always been my staple favourite at Lululemon but I think the Coastal Tank has become a tie with it. I hope it becomes a core piece.

I picked this one up in exchange for the Water Bound Singlet. Its soft, opaque and actually looked much nicer on than I expected. I thought that such a pale color would wash me out but it looked really pretty on.

My store had just a few pieces in today from last nights upload, the Water Bound Singlet and the Water Bound Hoodie, and Water Bound Bra. I was really hoping to see the Shanti Surf Shorts. They had in the new Groovy Stripe Cadet Blue Cool Racerback, Wee Are From Space Blue Tropics and Barely Pink Space Dye. No Heathered Earl Grey CRB.
I was a bit disappointed in the Water Bound Singlet but that is probably because I compare it to the Coastal Tank which I feel is finished off much nicer and feels more substantial. I take a 10 in Cool Racerbacks but in the Coastal Tank I size down to an 8 (seen in picture below) and still get a flowy drapey fit. The Water Bound Singlet is cut narrower with much less of an A-Line and so my usual size 10 fit much better although it felt clingy at the bust. The material is the same swim fabric I believe, but feels thinner. Also, the bottom hem of the tank is unfinished and just a raw cut unlike the Coastal Tank which is finished off. I'm also not liking the laser cut holes in this, or the Apex Stripe Dune. The Dune makes it look like a dirty off white.
I know what I'm ordering tonight. I've been wearing my Coastal Tanks like crazy since the weather has turned warm, and I've worked out in them now and really love them for a sweaty workout. I hope this new version the Waterbound Singlet is pretty much the same as the Coastal Tank, I think this looks a bit longer though. Sounds like the Waterbound Bra is also chlorine resistant material.
I wear my Coastal Tanks casually as street wear and I hate wearing a sports bra casually so I picked up this Victoria Secret Front - Close Racerback Demi Bra and I absolutely love it. The back is fully covered by a Cool Racerback, and mostly covered by the Coastal Tank with just a bit of lace peeking through here and there. The bra is also the most comfortable racerback bra I've ever tried on. I definitely recommend it if you've been wondering what bra you can wear with the coastal tank.
New Coastal Tanks are in at a US Store. Looks like it has a dye cut pattern on the front. Also a new static black bra underneath (Run Bound Bra?).
