PSA:*Make sure to check out with EBATES online (referral commissions are earned). Don't forget the holiday return period is now in effect. You've got until January 8th to make returns.
Ebates Coupons and Cash Back

Drat!!! Even though I made the effort to remind you guys up there ^^ to check out with ebates, guess what I forgot to do. Twice. Even though I have the pop up application that shows me when I have a rebate option.  I ordered the Rest Less Hoodie in black, and then later the Rest Less Pullover in black. I really like the texture on this one and that it is deep black so I want to check it out in person - but drat! I'm also waiting for that Ombre black/grey Wunder Under pant that the foreign website got a few weeks ago (UK I think?). Other than that this has been a pretty unexciting winter so far. I mean, there are some really nice basics I've gotten but overall the items are really lacking in excitement and life!

I forgot to mention that I picked up the Chamber Pant for my husband for Christmas. He wanted 'lululemon sweat pants' but they can't have a cuffed hem, or be narrow slim legged or luon. The Chamber Pants are a nice wide, straight legged cut and nice and thick. I just hope he likes the spacer material in sweat pants because they don't really have a basic cotton terry sweat pant this year that meets his criteria.

  1. Umm that doesn't look like a bomber jacket...

    1. Oh, I don't know. I think there's a pretty good chance it'll bomb. ;). Sorry, couldn't resist.

    2. Especially at $368 USD!

    3. The idea of a reversible jacket between quilted and non-quilted is neat, but for that price I could just go out and buy two jackets that I actually like!

  2. All black and white, grey dull colours. Boxy, unappealing jackets and sweaters.... horrible and overpriced. What has happened to Lululemon? I have no desire to even walk into the store these days.

    1. I love the Rest Less Hoodie, but even that I would never pay close to $100 for.

What is with the sleeves on the Hit It jacket? It looks like she's trying to fit into a child's clothing...

    2. So agree...you can't even see ANY detail on the products with all the dark colors...oh but wait...there is no detail. Nice to see some bright blue but all easy passes at those ridiculous prices.

  3. FYI, the Apple Pay promo is back. Nothing I want to buy even with a $25 incentive, though. :(

  4. Boring upload. Next!

  5. Is it just me or does it look like the print from the white rest less hoodie was inspired by stretch marks? :/

  6. Kinda ironic that the lulu coats don't seem very warm considering it's a Canadian brand. I ordered 2 down coats from Macy's to try a Michael Kiors and another brand both for $200 and got 10% ebates. I wanted mid thigh. The lulu raincoat I find frustrating finally a waterproof one! But who would run in the rain in black? And seriously I would never buy a white coat, I'd wash it more than wear it.

  7. I just want to cry. I see Inkwell and Deep Indigo and would love to buy something in those colours but I don't like the designs, talk about frustrating.

    1. I have the Deep Indigo Aligns and love them. They're relatively reasonably priced, too, by current Lulu standards. Just an idea.

    2. Thanks Anon 4:24pm for the suggestion but I don't wear Aligns. I am hoping for a winter rulu top or jacket in one of these colours but so far I just haven't liked the styles. I also really like Emperor Blue, I guess I am drawn towards dark rich looking blues this season.

  8. I have $200 in gift cards and have had them for months waiting for good winter items.....

  9. The picture on top of the What's New Page on the Cdn site shows the bottom on a nice green (maybe fuel green?) top, could this be something new coming out way?

I like the Rest Less PO in the grey print, nicer than the 1/2 zip in heathered black I ordered last week and returned because I didn't like the feel of the fabric and the short neck.

    1. I like the Rest Less Pullover too but they are too warm for me. Wish it was a Swiftly.

    2. I returned the heathered black Rest Less PO for the same reason - the fabric was kind of rough and plasticky? weird.

    3. I bought restless PO in slate grey today. It felt like butter not like the one from last week's pattern. I returned one from last week's pattern for that reason. Try slate grey and black!! Pattern is cuter in person too!!

    4. Thanks Yoginitiff I will check out the slate grey one, it's such a nice pattern.

  10. The Rest Less pullover in black is really beautiful in person. I was SO tempted but I already had some other purchases. The ombre Swiftly cuts me in half and makes me look stubbier than I already am. Big old nope for me.

  11. I'm not super excited about the latest Lulu pieces but I was waiting for the Fleece Be True jacket. I love my first generation Fleecy Keens so I thought I'd give these ones a go. Plus they have the quilting and those super cute buttons that rarely make appearances these days. Fingers crossed!

    1. The fabric is quite different from Fleecy Keen, so don't let the name fool you. Fleece to be True is made out of cotton, much like scuba.

  12. Has anyone ordered for themselves at iviva? How does the sizing work compared to lululemon?

    ReplyDelete

    1. @ Michelle, I am a 4/6 at lulu and order a size 14 in everything and it always fits.

    2. I am a 4 in most things LLL, except items that run large, such as sweaters.

If you are a 4 in a Lulu CRB, either a 12 or 14 Keep Your Cool should work. I need a 14 for ivivva pants and even some of those are tight. That being said, keep my body type in mind -- I am a little under 5'3" and about 110 pounds give or take. I carry a lot of weight in my legs.

I am loving ivivva's winter lineup SO much more than LLL's.

    3. I wear a 4 in lulu bottoms, 5' 9" 135 and I ordered a few pants in size 14. They were way too big in the waist for me. I'll probably reorder a size 12 but I have a feeling that their sizing might just not work for me.

      Delete
    4. I'm a solid 6 in lulu. 5ft broad shoulders and busty. Ivivva size 14 tops and jackets fit me if they have some stretch across the chest. Size 14 bottoms are too tight. Keep in mind everything is short (perfect length for me) and even if the neckline looks low on the online model it might be tighter on an adult collarbone/neck. I love the keep your cool racerback. Any tank top even in size 2 at lulu is too low on me. The neck opening goes halfway down my bra and the hem hits 2 inches below my bum. Their swiftly equivalent is much thicker than lulu's.

    5. I'm 5'8", size 6 and I can usually fit a 14 crop/pants there, depending on fabric. (Pants can be more like a 7/8 crop though.) It is hit or miss for me on their tops/jackets, sometimes proportions are off. I went into ivivva today and the purple space themed pants were gorgeous!! They had a few options with vintage pink tops/tanks, that matched so perfectly. I ended up buying the pants. I was tempted by so much more, but I had no time to try tops on. I'm definitely going back to look again!

    6. I am 5'3" and a size 4 in Lulu bottoms, and I can wear a size 12 or 14 in Ivivva. The waist is much lower than Lulu pants- just a heads up. I do like that the rise is shorter in the running pants/crops, it fits me better and I am not always pulling up my pants like some of my Lulu run tights.
I do a 14 in the racerback tank (I don't like things super tight), and the neck is higher and the length is at my hip. (I like both of these things). I can't fit jackets or tops with sleeves because I'm too muscular. I have zero boobs, and am petite, but I lift, so no go on ivivva with sleeves. Hope that helps!

  13. Is the rest less hoodie in black only available in Canada? I couldn't find that color on the US site.

  14. Gee I like the wu blocked....and the blue tulle but maybe crop or shorts ....would love a colour compare of cerileun blue with porcelain pipe dream and some of the other blues. It kinda has a neon look to it...close to Sapphire. ...

    1. LOL They did this a while back with peacock blue and I didn't like it because the eye is drawn to the waist and not everyone wants that. Seeing this done in black looks even worse.

  16. I like the WUP in Blocked and the Restless Hoodie in Black..not sure if I will order though

    ReplyDelete
  17. @yoginitiff, was the black one as soft as the grey?

  18. I ordered all of the Restless. I wish they had the hooded in black in the US. Well, it looks like they do in stores, so I might have to check it out there. Other than that, I ordered a couple gray leggings (surprise color). The WUP's and High Times in heathered black and the varigated knit to see if I like it better than the Speeds. Oh, and some black aligns. And some gloves. I know...boring. I am not keeping all the Restless. I will return a couple...maybe.

  19. How do the restless hoodies compare to your crb size? I am a 6 in crb, and 6 in other pullovers/jackets (thinkfast, kanto, define jackets etc.) reviews say the restless pullover runs small, wondering if the hoodie is the same? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete

    1. I personally find the Rest Less line TTS. I take a 2 in CRBs, 4 in most tops and pullovers, and 6 in bras, and I buy the RL PO and hoodies in a 4. My only complaint about the hoodie (at least the ones from last year) was that it pooches out in the front a bit because of how the pocket is designed.
