Store Report: Breezy Easy Wrap, Zen Bender LS, Zen Bender SS, Cape Red Cool Racerback

Breezy Easy Wrap size XS/S $128
There are a few elements of this wrap that I really liked a lot, and a few that made me put it back and hope that I can purchase it later on markdown. It's quite oversized even at the size XS/S (I'm typically a size 10) which is what I have on in these pictures so I think finding the size M/L on markdown is a pretty safe gamble. I think the wrap looks terrible buttoned up and I hate that it has reverse buttons which are so difficult to do up, especially since the backing of the button hole is covered up. I loved the soft loose knit, the short kimono sleeves and the color and how it looks left open.

here you can see how the buttons sit on the weird reverse button hole.

Zen Bender LS size 10
Pima Cotton/Modal blend. Surprisingly snug TTS. The color os gorgeous and I am a big fan of Modal, and I also really liked the neckline in the front and back. I hated how open the back is at the slit and it is oddly snug.

Zen Bender SS size 10
This tee is unfortunately sheer. Granted I was wearing a dark blue bra, but I also found it very sheer around the middle. It's also so odd that there is a slit on only one side of the hem. I like the length of this tee and that it is cotton modal but other than that this was a definite pass for me.

Cape Red is a pretty orange in person. It reminds me a lot of 'Duck Sauce' from November. This particular CRB was on the thin side and not soft.

  1. Looks like a pass on all the clothes posted above. They look thin, hangs poorly. Why the slits??!! They are too high and revealing. The zen bender is a pretty color

  2. Hard pass on all of these. It's insane that that wrap is $128, and I especially don't need any more gray LLL tops.

  3. I was totally disappointed with the fit of zen bender tee too. I really wanted to like it Bruce's I thought the slit would be cute when worn over a CRB as I always have one on under everything and thought that would look cute to have the crb peek out from the slit- but it just gaped open and didn't flatter my mid section. I feel like it needed to be tighter in that area but didn't feel like I could size down because then the sleeves and cheese would probably be too snug. It was a total bust for me too.

    2. Wonder if the side slit is so it could be tied up on that side?

  4. Thanks for the fits reviews. I agree that the wrap looks horrible buttoned up and to be honest I wouldn't waste my money even buying this on mark down. The only good thing about the Zen Bender l/s is the colour, the style is going to be difficult to wear and will look like it's pulling in back on most body types. As for the Zen Bender s/s the material looks very cheap and thin and the colour doesn't take to that fabric as nicely as it does with the CRB. It doesn't look to be a promising drop this week as well. What a disappointing summer so far of product I wouldn't pay full price for and not even tempted to buy on markdown.

  5. Hi LLM, you didn't happen to see the Tea lounge sweatpants in store did you? Ever since I saw them on the Aussie site I have been hoping they make it here....

Loved the zen bender ls until I saw the back. Yuck. Love the color and it's so cute on you.

The BE wrap looks pretty bad buttoned up and looks pretty clingy. Easy pass for me even on wmtm. maybe the slit on the zen bender ss should be tied up? Might look better, but it's still pretty thin. Thanks for the try on reviews!

Yes it definitely looks terrible buttoned up. The color is nicer in person though, more like a heathered cocoa brown. I'd get a more streamlined wrap in this color.
The streamlined LS gaps quite a bit though. It's not like the Sun Salutation sweater where the ends are pretty close to each other.the ends of the Zen Bender flare out quite a lot and because it's a slimmer fit it would make it tight around the middle and shorter if you tied the ends.

Eeks everything here is an easy pass! The Zen Bender LS is only pretty because of the color. I don't think I like the cut though it seems it could be cute! How disappointing.
