Upload!!!

Nothing for me from this upload but I did go back and order a grey Sunshine Coast LS after having worn my first one on repeat over the past two weeks. I like the length and the slouchy fit of the Sweet Savasana Pullover but not the neckline or the ribbon at the waist so I was happier saving the $20 and getting the Sunshine Coast. I was initially worried the Sunshine would be too thin but I wear it with a cotton tank top underneath and it's perfect. Cozy but not as warm as the double sided Chai Time II Pullover so it will get a lot more year round use for me. How about all that Bordeaux Drama, Black and Grey lately! As one of you said earlier this week in comments, they've really killed the color for me. Remember the days when Lululemon used to have a color story? This has been such a terrible season for Lululemon that I actually think it's as bad as summer 2013 Lululemon.

What did you guys order?  Anything?

  1. I have to say - for all the years I have been buying Lulu, this is the time when we usually the best items....it has been so non-stimulating. I'll be going to Lulu outlets instead...so sad.

  2. I thought about the &Go dress, but it's just like the previous version, and how many black skater type dresses can you own? I decided to pass, also because it looks like it has mesh, and it all seems meh. I have no words for that onesie thing. OMG.

    1. I feel the same. I was hoping for some cute colors. I'm not fond of the prints they picked and I don't need a new LBD. I might have considered the pixel print one, but the price point at this time of year is just a bit too much for me. For $108, I wouldn't have hesitated, but it seems the current Lulu pricing is just high enough for me to not impulse buy anymore.

  3. Anyone know what the About That Base pieces are made of? "Fabric is four-way stretch" isn't very helpful.

  4. Nada...I would love a pique bordeaux/berry rumble running pullover but those bright solid berry rumble cuffs, neck, and hem kill the runderful 1/2/ zip for me.

  5. Wow....that was a whole lotta nada. Except Bordeaux drama I guess. How many items do they expect us to buy in that color?? Just the apex mind & body kit for me. Guess I should be grateful that finally appeared. What a total disappointment this holiday lulu season has been.

  6. Every upload I don't see the Fuel Green Scuba III, a part of me dies. I used to love Bordeaux drama but enough already.

    1. I feel your fuel green scuba pain :(( I really wanted to get that one for my daughter for Christmas but it looks like it's not going to happen.

  7. I'm with Michelle, I want that Fuel Green Scuba to show up already! I thought about the &go dress in the black/bordeaux print, but I keep seeing Lulu dresses on markdown in my stores so I'm gonna hope the price drops a bit before I pull the trigger. I like the Apex CRB but it just seems busy in a tank - I want the T-shirt version. Nothing for me this time, and I'm about to return my Think Fast hoodie (too thin) and the Align and Define LS (color was too washed out and something was weird with the shoulder seams). My wallet is happy.

  8. HI LLM,

Did you go TTS or down a size in the Sunshine Coast LS? Was your first one the minkberry? Do you find it too seethrough for just a nude bra?

    Thanks!

    1. Hi,
I found it TTS and loose enough around the middle to wear with jeans (muffin top not displayed). I did order minkberry, that one is the most sheer. I am comfortable with the amount of sheerness paired with a nude bra but others may not be in which case you'd always wear it with a tank under it. My preference is wearing it with a light cotton tank (modern racer) but I would wear it without if it's warmer out. For now the Minkberry is tags on and on my 'maybe' pile but the fatigue was 100% a keeper.

  9. I like the Karmic cocoon wrap, but $198?! NOOOO! And such limited colors. Hopefully the new year brings new product and colors.

  10. Nothing for me. Only want the Heathered fuel green CRB that US got last week.

Omgosh the bundas onesie is ridiculously awful.

I saw/felt the About the Base LA in store (Toronto Eaton Centre) and I thought it was not worth the price...nylony and cheap. Had hopes it would be like the Rest Less LS.

I like Bordeaux Drama but all I bought was the solid CRB so it's not overdone in my wardrobe. It does seem like they are doing overkill on using it in so many items.

  12. I picked up a few items from the last upload. The 5 year Yogini, the Rest Less pullover and Runderful LS in space dye camo caspian blue. Looking forward to trying on the sweater pant, they look cozy.

  13. I ordered the new pace rival crops, I'm hoping the fabric is nice and supportive like the black ones I have (on the site they say these new space dye ones are a "twist on luxtreme with it's own unique fit and feel"). Does anyone know what that black half-zip is that is featured in the pace rival crop photo?

Also, FYI, on the Canadian site the Face the Frost half-zip in Black Grape has been restocked. It seems the only way to find it though it to type 'half-zip' in the search field. I'm glad - my size sold out and I majorly regretted not purchasing (I'm training for a half marathon in February, so lots of cold weather running to do).

    1. The black half-zip with those grey camo space dye Pace Rivals looks like the Run: Wild Half Zip...the original version had a jacquard mesh panel in the back, but I think last year it was released in Australia with a solid back like in those pics so maybe they will be bringing it out again.

    2. Thank you for the info! Much appreciated, I'm going to keep an eye out for it :)

    3. thanks for intel on face the frost 1/2 zip - I found it and ordered it - my store had one on hold for me in black but i didn't get there on time so it was sold next day or at least ed couldn't find it anymore! Black grape will be nice change from black anyway. I wonder what else is not showing up on the site that can be found by searching?!? I did put the dress on hold at my store - 2 sizes as the ed couldn't tell me if it was tts or not. I have the picnic play dress - nwt lol - so may be looking to return that for this A line dress.....then again $158 for a simple A line dress that can be bought at reputable retailers for probably half with all the crazy sales. No CRBs for Cda again....boo

  14. Holy cow, the price of the Karmic Cocoon wrap! $198??? Most merino wool sweaters from Aritzia (Wilfred, Babaton) usually range from $110 to around $165...and many are made in italy.

  15. Where is the Think Fast Hoodie in Peacock Blue on US Site? I was looking forward to it being uploaded tonight.

  16. I bought the raspberry/tender violet hustle your bustle jacket tonight. It is SUPER thick and hides all flaws. Pricey at 128 but since this season has been so sad, I wanted to pick up something. The jacket is shorter than the define, but shorter looks better on me. First thing I bought in awhile. However, if Canada gets the rest less pull over in BR that the UK got today, then I will pick that up as well. Interesting though, the new rest less pullovers that came out are not as thick and cozy as last year. The London, On store had the heathered forage teal CRB in, but it was thinner than the other heathered ones that have come out this fall (Didn't think that was possible) and felt scratchy so that was a no go for me. At least the heathered bordeau CRB I picked up a couple months ago was soft.....

  17. It was funny before but now it is getting kind of ridiculous, $200 bucks for a SWEATER/WRAP??? They are definitely not acting like a store that has been dealing with too much inventory!

  18. I tried to order a sun to moon scarf from WMTM. At checkout I was given an error that it's out of stock, but it's clearly there on the website. After several attempts I got payment confirmation emails from paypal but nothing from lululemon. Of course I'm not getting a scarf, and my funds are being held for 5 business days. What a joke. This is just so bogus, what kind of a shit show is going on at lululemon these days? Can anyone else tell me on the US website if they can see the sun to moon scarf in stock? I can still add it to my cart and get to checkout. Im giving up for now because I don't want to be charged 50 times. I'm about done with this... Is anyone else having a hard time checking out on the US website?

    1. Unless you've seen it in store and really loved it id be wary, I ordered one from an outlet and found it very cheap, started unravelling almost immediately. Might have just saved yourself some $$.

    2. Thanks for the heads up. I've just been looking for a scarf like it for a nursing cover up. It looks perfect for the summer months..

    3. same thing happened to me on cyber monday! they charged my paypal and consequently my visa. I had to go back and forth between paypal and gec just to get my money back. havent had the same confidence in shopping wmtm since. my hopes are not up until the item is on my doorstep!

  19. Actually, if the cocoon wrap is anything like the hooded version of this I bought last year, $200 is actually worth it. It actually has a lot more weight than just a regular sweater. I use it as a jacket in Canadian winters and it's SO warm. Nice for those days you go out to the mall or something and don't want to wear your heavy winter jacket.

  20. I finally bought the Runderfuls and honestly can't decide whether to keep them. I got them in black for practicality but they aren't *quite* as warm as I thought (I live in NY) as it was maybe 40 and windy the other day, and I felt the breeze on my legs. I know they're for running, but I'd also intended to wear them as casual day-wear - that won't do when it's -10F out (not that I think that'll happen this year). For $130 on my little college budget, I'm having a lot of trouble deciding whether to take the tags off (good thing I have until January 10!) I originally thought I'd be able to use them for casual Friday at an office, but now that I actually have them I can't see that happening, especially with the crotch puckering (I sized down so it's not as bad), the pocket lining showing through, and the bizarre waist strings that make them look like sweatpants (why not do the never-ending drawstring like in every single other pair of their running pants?!) I really really really love the actual pant, but I'm not sure if I can get $130 worth of use out of it. I'm honestly planning to go for a run in them with the tags on! Btw for anyone else on the fence, they have a perfect little shelf that the tag can hide itself in where top of the pants and the leggings meet, so you can wear them around without anyone noticing :')

    1. I have the same feeling about my Toasty Techs. Everyone keep posting how they were so warm, so I bought some. I initially agreed, they are cozy and I liked them. I wore them to Disneyland this weekend because it was unusually cold (like 50ish degrees). I froze my butt off!! I was walking around and in motion plenty, and I was SO cold. I even tried a short hike with a friend...still frozen legs. I guess if you are running full out in them, it's fine, but I can't see these really being considered "warm" unless you are inside or it's about 60 degrees outside. There's no way I could jog in these in the cold and feel comfortable. Maybe I need something thicker?

As for your Runderfuls, I'd say with Lulu these days...unless you are in love with them, return them. Most things, I've ever waffled back and forth about keeping, sit in my "sell" pile of regrets and the few who made the "keep" cut, aren't my go-to's anyway.

    2. i own several toast techs from last season and they are by no means justified in price. im happy to have them but still have to layer with a speed tight underneath once the snow hits. i use them for running.

    3. Hi Anonymous--I tried on the Runderfulls in store, and decided against them. They just weren't flattering and the price point was too high for the look. The two layers didn't really work well together either. The outer shell really should have been cut a little larger than it is. Sometimes I wonder if Lulu has great designers but their manufacturer's are getting away with poor implementation? Anyway, good luck with your decision.

I'm hoping that someone makes an outdoor pant that is more functional and truly warm. Even if it isn't as cute, I'm hoping to stay warm when the temperature does drop on the east coast. The Runderfuls just weren't the right solution for that price point.

  21. Anon 6:41, thanks for the Intel on seeing the heathered forage teal CRB in an Ontario store! I'm in Toronto so am on the lookout for it. I haven't bought any of the new heathered ones but I hear they soften up.
