What We Love is up and finally, it looks like both the US and Canada will get the Black Grape Runderful Pants. Now that I may no longer need them (soccer is over for winter next week) and I've lost a bit of interest in them. I'll probably order them to try on in that color but I'm not sure I'll find a need or justification for them at this point. Too bad Lululemon seems to be extremely delayed in cold weather items. I've made due without the cold weather technical items for so long now that I'm only interested in the cozy none technical pieces. The Think Fast Hoodie is super cute in that black/white pin stripe. Not sure about the contrasting cuffs but I like the print.
Such an informative product shot. I think it has a diagonal zip?
Why make the contrast stark white? I will never buy anything with white bottom and wrist trim, particularly anything with thumbholes or cuffins that will result in it looking dingy after one or two wears. Plus, the high contrast band at the bottom will just break up the lines of whatever you're wearing.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree! Any person that is not a statue will get white dirty. So adding white trim to a nice top will bring on the dinginess. Cuffs are notorious for lots of wear. Colors hide the dinginess. White makes you look like Pigpen.
DeleteThe Cozy Cuddle Up looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteExcited for the Runderfuls in Black Grape and the Think Fast... in another color lol.
ReplyDeleteafter the Thursday us "upload" I don't care about Tuesday. I am so annoyed with their release dates, it's all ready cold and we've had to make do without this stuff - Alyssa
ReplyDeleteI love the Think Fast Hoodies... I got all mine off WMTM. However, I will have to try on in the store since that white trim is a bit too shocking of a contrast to the dark color :( I can see makeup on it, dirt and snot from my kid... Lulu should have released the runderful pants earlier when I wanted them. After reading reviews, I'm not terribly excited about them (I've read they are hard to put on and bunch weird). The 1/2 zip I have read of that underseaming below the bust is hit or miss if it fits right on you. So much I would have bought if it was done right...
ReplyDeleteSeriously those bust seams they like so much always kill the pullovers for me...they always look too high and never seem to sit under my bust :( I really wish they would stop doing them. And totally agree on the white cuffs and collar on the Think Fast...those are just screaming to get stained or just dingy.
DeleteThe Runderful Pants have also lost their lust appeal for me. As LLA stated in her blog, I've gotten by so far and would've snatched them up in a heartbeat when first previewed. But other things (Family Christmas gifts, 2016 race registrations, other Lulu...) are topping my need for their $148 price tag. So, I'll chance their appearance on WMTM. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way...
DeleteI *think* I like the looks of the Cozy Cuddle Up Jacket but I have the Stress less in Bordeaux and now the &go Destination hoodie in a similar Black Cherry color. I hope it comes in other colors!
ReplyDeleteSHAME ON LULULEMON!!!!!!!!!!! my ENTIRE cybermonday order was just cancelled. they sent me shipping confirmation this morning. and just now, 12 hours later, sent me a return request authorization. i was like huh what return request?! all week i thought i was sitting pretty with all my gifts done and now, on friday night at 730pm i find out that my ENTIRE order is cancelled?! I missed out on a week of mark downs thinking i had them in the mail and enroute to me. i am NEVER buying from this ridiculous company again!
ReplyDeleteI had a huge order too and it took three days for them to tell me what was canceled. I would have bought the one pair of pants in another color had I known. Really frustrating.
DeleteThat is ridiculous! How could they even send a shipping email???!!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Shipping emails are usually generated when the label is created. That's very shady, Lulu! No gift card is going to heal that would. Scars are forever. Keep it up and you'll be irrelevant by 2020!
Deleteformerly anon 4:51 I HAVE NO CLUE! order was placed monday at 5:51am (legit when i woke up that day lol) and by thursday i hadnt received any news/email on my order so i emailed them. i even mentioned that i heard whispers of orders being cancelled and i wanted to confirm this was not the case with my order (this was thursday!) the GEC emailed me back saying order is confirmed and ill received express shipping and a conf email shortly. friday morning i awoke to my shipping email with tracking and everything. at 5:51pm i receive an email saying thanks for my inquiry with GEC my email will be responded to shorty (i did not email them) then at the same time (also at 5:51pm) i receive an email advising of a return authorization code/rma thing. at this point i was like wtf!?!? i called them and they said that their warehouse couldnt handle all the cyber monday orders and that mine was cancelled. THIS IS COMPLETLEY INEXCUSABLE. it's not like i ordered off byway or something, this is lululemon, a supposed multi MILLION dollar company who should be able to handle a self advertised sale! not to mention that they have hosted greather sales (ahem, warehouse sales!!!!) online before. the person that i spoke to kept saying, verbatim, i cant speak to why this happend but our warehouse couldnt handle the others. to me this complety wipes out any faith i have in ordering from lululemon again. how is something like this even possible. are they going to replace the items that i ordered and are now out of stock? are they going to replace the lost value in sale items i THOUGHT i purchased? they say no. completely completely out of control shock here. first world problems, i know, but from a service level there are no words for this.
ReplyDeleteYou know black grape is actually black swan? I got my 'black grape' studio pants today & the color code is black swan. I called my local store & asked if they had the black grape studio pants, and she said "No. We have black swan though". Wow!
ReplyDeleteIt is the same colour. I believe a few years ago lulu had to change the name to avoid lawsuit from filmmakers because of the movie Black Swan.
DeleteOMGness, that is such a stupid reason. Really? Like maybe that movie could've used the publicity. :P
DeleteThe lousiest part about that is how close we are to holidays. Now you're left to try and find other gifts! Terrible! We had an issue with toys r us doing that a few years ago, let us know a WEEK before Christmas that the toys weren't coming. So wrong! You just don't mess with kids on Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThese companies better get on their game with the stats supporting a very heavy preference for online retail vs the actual store. Who wants to run all around the state shopping when you can look for exactly what's on the Christmas lists, but it, and get it on your own doorstep... coupons and free shipping included!
DeleteHi LLM, I tried on the Cozy up Cuddle Jacket tonight in my local LLM, it does have a diagonal zip so the front zipped up kind of looks the Bhati Jacket zipped up. The French terry is thick & nice, with a $118 price tag. However, I left it in store as when zipped up the thickness of the French terry made me look like I was wearing a giant scarf. (Too bulky around the neck, and I have a thin chicken neck) The only colours it came in was a bordeau, (which I think was with heathered black in it) and the typical boring med grey. The zipper detail was nice, just too thick at the neck as the fabric criss-crosses. I think that is what these photo's are trying to 'conceal'. Which is alarming as I have noticed this trend with the new website photo's this year. I did pick up the yogini 5 year in the new vintage pink/raspberry stripe. (That boring shirt becomes very unboring when I put it on in a size down. Its become one of my go to staple pieces and I now have 4 of them. Go figure!)
ReplyDeleteI saw Brush stream WU at the store today and didn't care for them. Nothing here even remotely appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteFirst world problems.
ReplyDeleteWhatever... it's still annoying when it happens to you! If this stuff is so insignificant and "first world", why do you even bother reading/posting about it?
DeleteDid your football team win this weekend? Were the refs fair? Where are you going to eat for dinner? Did you get that good job? All first world stuff. I'm sure your first world problems aren't ours, and we don't give a crap about yours. We are just smart enough not to comment on your blogs about it.
DeleteAnd yet you cared enough to comment. Says more about you than anyone here. And I'm willing to bet you're not making a particularly significant contribution to the world anyway.
DeleteYour smug self-righteous comment is quite useless to this group. Time to go and troll somewhere else.
DeleteIf you are so concerned about first world problems, why are you sitting on your a%! reading a blog about Lululemon clothing? Ha! dumb.
DeleteSaw the runderful half zip at the store, seemed short.
ReplyDeleteOh boo! I have a long torso! Grr. I like the traditional length. It hits me upper bum when it usually hits most lovely ladies mid to lower bum. I'd love something to actually cover my bum!
DeleteAnyone else think the new Think Fast cuffs reminds them of a Mime? If you get it, just pretend you are in an imaginary box as you walk down the street. Especially if you are using the thumbholes!
ReplyDeleteBahaha! Thanks for the good laugh! ;)
DeleteI really hope the think fast comes in other colors. It's my favorite long sleeve from last year. The black and white one looks like the super stuffy collared button downs they make for women.
ReplyDeleteAgree, Runderful Half Zip and the under bust swam (well hopefully) is tricky and could do without. I have a rulu half zip like this from years ago (reversible, forget name) and am light busted and it is too high on even me. Can't imagine if you are more blessed in the area, it would be really annoying. I also do not like the waistband on the runderful half - too colour blocky for my preferences.
ReplyDeleteEverything else a big pass. That cuddle sweater or whatever - stupid model obscuring poses and photos! I thought recently they finally got it and stopped this. What a bunch of dolts!
Runderful pant - thanks to people including LLM who described issues; glad I have the dog runner pant from a couple years ago. I'd hold out for wmtm at this point if you want the runderful pant. Although wmtm not really a good deal any longer.
As for the shipped and then "oops! not" situations - that is frustrating and it is not acceptable customer service. It is useful information for other customers. Yes, fully agreed it is a FWP however there is no need for such snark. You think you are safe behind your computer but consider the negative energy you are putting out there and the undesirable behaviour you are exhibiting. It is also disrespectful to the blog owner.

ReplyDeleteI get that the holidays are stressful, but at the end of the day, nobody is going to die over Lulu and their customer service follies. And believe me, I hate Lulu customer service more than anyone on here. Don't get me started listing my past experiences; it's just not a road I want to go down and not worth me getting all worked up about. These days I've come to expect this type of thing from Lulu. I still shop them on occasion, but the majority of my funds get spent elsewhere. The way you show your dissatisfaction is to shop elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteNicely put! Agreed!
DeleteWhat bad experiences have you had with Lulu customer service?
