Lululemon's Black Friday 2015 Limited Edition Prices: Pace Tight *Reflective, Speed Tight IV* Reflective Race With Grace 1/2 Zip

These limited edition items are definitely out of my price range but I think it falls in line with other brands that are fully reflective so I can't scoff too terribly much about it. I am scoffing a little though. I can see this being a great 'luxury' Christmas present for the serious runner in your life, not necessarily something somebody would purchase for themselves but something someone would buy as a really nice gift. If you have a nanny or a grandparent that babysits for you and they are into running, buy them this. They deserve it.

  1. I walk my dog in a neighborhood that has no sidewalks or street lamps, so at night it is PITCH BLACK...yet, it's a pretty bustling suburb so there's still a fair amount of traffic. And despite flash lights and little reflective bits and bobbles, cars either don't see us or don't care to slow down/move over if they do. So I am a little bit tempted by the full on reflective tights. There's no ignoring my entire bottom half lit up! LOL Just not sure I can justify that price...

  2. I'm a hardcore runner in Toronto (Ontario) and since it is dark in both the morning and evening, I could justify the tights (though am unlikely to buy either version). The shirt is of no use right now because I would be wearing a jacket and am not going to buy the shirt to get proper seasonal use out of it next year.

I'm not into the snake pattern which is the main reason I won't buy them.

I also agree that even when you sport reflective materials, vests, and lights, drivers are not that courteous. You still have to run or walk defensively.

  4. Ugly stuff. I'm pretty sure reflective can be done much better than this crap.

    1. Oh my goodness, I just read everything and could not imagine buying any of this stuff as a Christmas gift for someone - it is so tacky.

  5. Luckily I never like the Black Friday special edition items, they're always too far out there and trying to be cutting edge trendy. I can't believe these got approved for production and even more, I can't believe they get approved for these price points.
