I don't like the shininess either :( The down jacket and vests from the beginning of fall season were especially shiny and cheap looking. Why do they have to make all the down stuff so shiny?! Yuck.
I was not a fan of the shiny either but it has definitely grown on me... When you look at the high end brands like montcler most of their down coats and jackets are made with the shiny material ... I guess it's the high end fashion trend ;)
I don't care for trends and high end stuff.... I really dislike that Lulu feels the need to follow the trends... It's a huge part of what has been turning me off Lulu these days... Not everyone wants to follow along with the rest of the herd...
