Fit Review and Color Comparison: Iris Flower Roll Down Wunder Under Crops to Bruised Berry and Power Purple

My store got the Iris Flower Roll Down Wunder Under Crops in today so I brought them home so that I can give you a proper color comparison and fit review. All my other Roll Down WU's I've sized down to an 8 without sacrificing opacity but these ones where slightly sheer in size 8 but totally opaque in my TTS 10. Unfortunately with these light creamy colors you do tend to see cellulite - not due to sheerness but because of shadowing on the lighter color. I've included a self sacrificing butt shot here for you so that you can see the cellulite issue. I'd be fine wearing this with a longer butt covering top but I rarely do that for working out in so these will probably go back, although I did love them.

Here is a color review with the Roll Down Wunder Unders in Bruised Berry and a Power Purple Cool Racerback. Of the three, I like Iris Flower the best but the difference between Iris Flower Roll Down Wunder Unders and Bruised Berry Roll Down Wunder Unders are pretty nuanced and I feel like a crazy lady keeping both colors in the same cut. I'd justify it if it was a completely different item but my fanatisism does in fact know bounds.

  1. I just sold my bruised berry seemlessly street crops because I never ever wore them. it wasn't an easy color to match.

  2. Do you think these show cellulite more or less than the electric coral pants/crops from a few months ago? I tried those and they were cellulite city, but pretty much had no compression or support at all.

    1. I didn't try those but I'm almost certain they'd be the same.

  3. Thanks for the color comparison!! I've been wondering how close Bruised Berry is to Iris Flower. It's a pretty color. It's too bad they didn't do Iris Flower True Self Crops. They would have been different enough for me to justify! I'm guessing I'll be able to get away with pairing that Bleacher Stripe CRB w/ my BB WUC.

  6. Completely off topic here. I'm considering putting some stuff on the lulu FB exchange. I've never done that before. Hate to admit it but I don't even have a Paypal acct yet. Any pointers you have to offer? What are the fees associated with doing that? How do you ship items so you know they are delivered ok? TIA!!!

    1. The FB exchanges are a great way to buy/sell. Most sellers will ship with tracking if you'd like it or they will send you a picture of the package all stamped and ready to go at the post office. Paypal charges you a fee if you pay via credit card as goods (internet search "paypal calculator" if you want to get an idea of the fee in advance, usually only a few dollars), which is IMO, the safest way to do it. Should something go wrong (in my case, my package was stolen from my porch!), your credit card company will reimburse you. If you pay via gift and your bank account, there won't be fees, but then you are most likely SOL if something happens. You can also check the feedback files, I also felt a little leery until I have done a few transactions. Hope that helps! Happy Shopping!!

    2. Definitely agree, the Exchange is the oldest and probably most straight forward selling site on FB. You will need paypal. The other option is EMT but then you are limited to Canadian buyers (assuming you are in Canada) but that is unsecure for buyers and less appealing so most people prefer paypal with tracked shipping.

  7. I think bruised berry is the easiest color to match! I wear it all the time as a neutral. Black, grey, grapefruit, neither flash, clear mint, blue tropics, white, lullaby, and in and on....I love bruised berry. I love iris flower, too.

  8. Unfortunately my love for purple has no bounds, and bruised berry was my favorite color, so will most likely snatch those up, too!! They look great on you!!

  9. Thanks for the color comparison between Iris Flower and Bruised Berry. I also have the Bruised Berry WUCs and was wondering how close Iris Flower was in color. I like Iris Flower Berry better and think I'd reach for them more often than my Bruised Berry which quite frankly i don't reach for all that often.
