My goal of this trip was to pick up something nice at Anthropologie like these boots I've fallen in love with...so in love...
but it turns out that that location doesn't carry shoes! Choked. It was also impossible to buy any tops or pants there because of huge lineups for the dressing rooms, one wonky mirror in store and huge lineups to pay. So I ended up back at Lululemon for an impulse buy of the Citron Peace of Mind vest which I may or may not keep. I love it but I'm not sure what else is coming down the line as far as jackets or other colors for this vest.
and then I went to Victoria Secrete and I found these really nice multi way racerback bras that I can wear with my CRB's, major pushup action and I can sort of nurse with them (sort of). The picture bellow is not of me... ;D
The Insite crops were not in store so I couldn't try them on. The only new item I saw was a new Modern crew neck in Senorita Pink but it had the wretched color block panels in grey on it. Poop on that. The rest of these pictures are from the Somerset Facebook album.
New mystery pants that look Astro like, maybe an Astro II. They look nice and I like the color combo but the Astro's and that style are a pass for me. I like Astros, I have a pair and they are comfy around my middle but they feel a little loose and slide a bit so it's not my favourite style.
Lolo Wear With All with a pencil sketch hood and new Merino Wool Toque (bottom). I'm not a fan of Merino wool, I find it very itchy and it drives me nuts so this is a pass. Does the hat she's wearing in the top two picture look like a running toque in lolo stripe or another Wool type toque?
New tank called Awareness Tank. I think this tank is suffering from an identity crisis. I'm going to have to try it on before I write it off completely but my first impressions are that I don't care for it.
And the Tadasana pants in Static Grey and Senorita Pink. I think I like these best in black. Excited to try these on although I don't think I have a "need" for them.
What was the Inspire Pullover snaffu??
ReplyDeleteI think downtown Seattle is the only Anthro in the state that stocks shoes. Bummer on the awful border delay!
ReplyDeleteShoot, if I had known that I would have just gone to pacific centre for shopping and then walked down to Anthro. Because of the long border delay there was no time to even stop and have a sit down lunch so for sure no time to go downtown on top of everything else. I priced out these boots and for online ordering and it is just crazy expensive. $18 for shipping and then $100 for taxes and duty. Yikes. Maybe next time we go late in the fall it will still be in store. Those boots would sure look hot with the new Audry Jacket.
ReplyDelete@Emily-someone on Facebook from the US was able to order the pullover through the GEC but then she was called, after she announced on FB that she was getting it and told that it was a mistake and they had to cancel the order. I wonder how many people actually attempted the same and got one and just kept it to themselves.
ReplyDeleteLulumum, I just ordered those boots. Love them!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't love the zippers on the Insight crop. I like that I can wear my other lulu crops or full length Spirit tights under ski pants in the winter (and they can be tucked into my ski boots without hurting my leg)... that's partially how I justify the price: spinning, running...and a base layer for skiing :)
ReplyDeleteAnon 6:36 you just convinced me further that I need those boots, especially to go with the Audrey Jacket. I'm going to have to save my pennies and plan another trip to seattle closer to October/november when I can convince my hubby to get them for me for Christmas. Hopefully there still available then. Can you let me know when you get them if you love them and tell me all about it???
ReplyDeleteRunningonCoffee, I like the look of the zippers but I think I would hate the feel of them. I tried on the Inspire crops the other day and all that pleating around the calf was cutting in
ReplyDelete**sorry, not the Inspire crops, the Run:Fast Crops
