Inspire Pullover!!!

Boo, it's hit US stores first. So disappointed. Oh well, I'm off for a pedicure in North Van today with my mom in law and sisters in law so I'll be sure to stop in at the Park Royal store in the hopes that it will be there. Grrrr if it's not!

Here it is in the Heathered Black which I'll be getting along with the Lolo Purple.

  1. BOOOO!!! on the bright side though we will get reviews on how it fits from our lovely friends in the states :)
I am with u on the lolo and heathered black, the plain black is just a lil too neutral and doesn't show off the detailing IMO :) guess gives me more time to free up some space on the cc ;)

  3. Someone also just posted on Luluaddict's blog:

"Run: Inspire Pullover in heathered lolo just unpacked at the San Diego Showroom. SOOOOO cute! The cuffins with "cold hands--warm heart" is a adorable design feature :)"

Woot! Hopefully we'll start seeing pictures soon enough!

  7. I wonder if it'll be available at the GEC. I'll have to call tomorrow (I'm in the US, but on the East Coast not near a store). If they were there and mistakingly being ordered and then cancelled, since they've hit stores I'd imagine they should be able to release them now. Hard to know what color to pick without seeing them. Might just have to get both lolo and pink and send back if I do not like one or the other. :)

  9. Just for fun, I mocked up the inspire pullover using the pic above and photoshopped it with colors :) lolo, senorita pink and bold blue (I wish!!).

Based on these (if they are close) I think I NEED a lolo one!

  10. Wow, those look pretty accurate. I think I want the bold blue one ;p.

I'm thinking I may get just one pullover now. Feeling really dissed by lululemon that they didn't at least release these at the same time in Canada and the US after all the build up. They were released in Santa Barbara and San Diego...cause it's getting really chilly in those parts. I just don't get it.

  11. Everything's always late to show up in stores here on the East Coast :(

  12. The US GEC told me this morning to try back next week. Bummer

  13. Hehe... I just called too. She said I can check my local store too, but if it's not there - it's coming out very soon and to check back early next week.

  14. Yeah, I'm really annoyed something so in demand isn't released everywhere at the same. It really should be released in Canada first (if anywhere). I mean, I know it sucks on both sides not to get something when it comes out, but are they not a Canadian company still? No US company would release a product in Canada before they did in the US. Why does places that probably wont even need it until November or December get the pullover? It's really ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense.

  15. Exactly we need it now, don't know about bc or ab but here in Sk its pretty chilly at night and early morning, I want to be able to get use out of them before its too cold out to run and then they sit in the closet!!

  16. My biggest issue with US/International getting products before Canada is not so much that I don't think other countries shouldn't get it first but Lululemon is a Canadian company, really the only Canadian company (I think) that is popular abroad as well as at home. Canadians have such a poor selection of retail compared to the US (mostly because of our corporate tax rate) so we often have to drive out there for popular brands and items. And many US companies don't ship across the boarder (pottery barn!!! I'm talking about you!!). SO this is a bit insulting to have a company that is ours, that we helped build up for many years (since 1998!!!) before it even moved abroad is offering better selection (temporarily of course) to other countries. I think I would feel better about it if the best selection was on the website on both Canada/International site equally. Who cares at that point whats in each individual store. Hope I haven't offended any Americans over this but it's just annoying me greatly. Make it equal across the board at least why don't you!

  17. I called the GEC, too and he told me it wasn't even showing in their system. So what, they got rid of it? Because apparently the warehouse had it in last week when people were ordering and then had their orders cancelled. Doesn't make sense.
And what irks me more, going along the lines of Lulumum is that not all stores get everything at the same time. I don't have a store, I have a showroom (which has little variety) and they don't get the "new" product until one or two months after it's released in other store and online. So I'm always searching for something. No offense taken on the American thing, I can understand us getting it a little later - it really is that nothing truly makes sense.

And irks me even more on timing, because that ESPN article was released *before* it's out to us dedicated Lulu fans, so that means other people who wouldn't normally get Lulu, and read the article and like it will try to order too - i.e. less for us. I do that a lot when I see something I really like (a dress worn in a movie, in a magazine) at a place I wouldn't normally shop and try to get it to it normally being sold out because it was featured.

I'm just completely perturbed about the whole situation. If I didn't love Lulu so much, I'd cut them off for some of their business practices/strategery.

    *Alright, Rant over*

  18. Thank you Angel. That ESPN article bugged me too because it only means Lulu sent them the pullover to promote and further hype. For a company that doesn't advertise they sure are starting to do a lot of advertising.
