Fit Review|Anthropologie Tillie Embroidered Blouse

Are you guys interested in non athletic wear fashion posts? I'd love to do more of them but I just worry that I'm straying too much from my readers when I do them. Having more post variety though gives me a renewed zest for blogging so I hope you don't mind if in addition to the usual Lululemon posts, I pepper in some fashion and beauty as well.

Tillie Embroidered Blouse size M
since last year I've had an obsession with pretty contrasted embroidered tops. I purchased a couple of blouses last year from Aritzia and wore them like crazy, and I'm still excited to wear them again this Spring. While in the Seattle Anthropologie I saw this top which I had already seen a few times on my Facebook news feed in the form of targeted ads (creepy much?), but it was an online return so it was the only one they had and it was a size M. The fit wasn't bad, it was just a touch cropped for my liking. I decided not to get it right then and there since the length was a bit short, but now that I've thought about it for a few days I'm going to order it online. What do you guys think? do you like it?

  2. Hi LLM, yep gotta agree, it's not your best look. Now the jeans you had on in your latest LLL fit review totally rock, and I loved the Aritzia bomber on you. So stylish and flattering. And to answer your question YES! I love it when you mix reviews. If you hadn't done the Aritzia post, I wouldn't have discovered the Assonance dress which I ended up buying in both colours, black and lilac fog. I would have walked right by hem thinking it's too "holly hobby" but once you put on the dress it is nothing like that. They ( the dresses) are heading to Cuba with me next week so thanks again and yes, please mix it up. It's not like the Lulu clothes are overly exciting these days, but I am looking forward to more black grape! Hoping for street to studios in them...

  3. Thanks!
Yes I'm so looking forward to the Black Grape fast and free tights. Honestly I'd probably get both the tights and the crops since we've had such a lulu drought lately.
I'm so glad you love the Aritzia dress. I've been shopping there a lot. Hopefully I can get a few fit reviews in there as well without getting kicked out of the store. lol!

  4. and be careful with ordering anthro online to Canada. it is ridic expensive and you have to pay shipping/duties and then a customs fee when it is delivered.
I think the top is cute on you, might look better if it was a little longer tho.

  5. Huh I think you look really cute in it!! And, I'm definitely up for reviews of other items besides Lulu, especially when Lulu isn't so interesting lately.

  6. I would love to see you do more fit reviews of cloths other than Lululemon as their selection is really not appealing to me right now. I love Anthropologie and this top looks really cute and comfortable. I just bought their acid wash shorts in a beautiful soft pink and wore them a lot while in Hawaii. I would love to see some fit reviews of cloths you have bought at Nordstroms!

  7. I also would love expanded reviews.... but I'm most interested in activewear. I'd love to see Athleta, as well as smaller brands from places like Bandier or Carbon38!

  8. Anthro is my absolute favourite retailer so I'd love to see more fit reviews! I think the top looks cute on you! I'd totally wear it too. Have you tried tucking in the front? I usually do that when there's too much fabric.

  9. I am also loving this shirt on you! and I think the length is perfect; any longer and it would look too sloppy.

  11. LLM, I do like the red embroidery but I'm not sure if the top is flattering on you. It takes away from your shape and billows out from the side view. You've worked so hard for your new fit body! You need stuff that flatters you. If you could take it in a bit in the middle, it might fit better.

I'm excited that Aritzia is opening a store in Century City Shopping Mall. Can't wait to check it out. I loved the bomber jacket you bought from Aritzia.

I would love to read some fashion/beauty reviews on your blog. LLL is so repetitive lately.
