Sneak Peek: What We Love

What We Love is up! I am loving the Down For A Run line and am really torn on what piece I'm loving more. It would be helpful to know what  color options are coming in each piece but for now I'm gravitating to the Down For A Run Jacket. Looks like both US and Canada are getting those pieces.

"We're also seeing a slight update going into Winter for the Scuba Hoodie III - we updated our fabric so we can now have it in beautiful bright solids and prints! It's still soft and fleecy, which I know you guys love, but now we can offer more variety in colours."

I have this color already. I wonder if it may actually be a RULU Cool Racerback and not regular luon light.

  1. Katelin clarified that the CRB will be light luon and not rulu. Too bad! It is still a nice colour and will probably sell very well.

  2. I really like all of these things. Especially I was waiting for the vest. It looks like it will be an expensive week. Good thing I didn't buy anything in a while. I may even have to buy my first Scuba if it comes in a nice solid color. Can't wait for Tuesday.

  3. I'm liking the CRB, hopefully it'll get to US soon. I have 3 Fluffed Up vests from last year and don't think I need more unless it'll be in a very special color

  4. I feel like Lulu has run out of colours to innovate. They keep recycling the same ones over and over. Don't get me wrong, I adore Black Swan (are they calling it that again after changing it to Black Grape?) and it's my favourite colour from Lulu but I think this is the 4th out of the past 5 years it's come back! Raspberry Glo Light we've seen over and over again as well. And we just finished a run of a ton of Bordeaux Drama which I'm now sick of. What gives?

    1. Personally I think they are trying to bulk up their sales with known very popular colors. Kinda sad. I also think they are trying to expand to more casual wear while their functional athletic wear suffers. Cycling wear and waterproof running wear have sucked.

    2. Here's a thought, restock items you sell out of. That will garner you more $.

  5. I LOVE that black grape jacket and the forage teal vest. Not sure I understand the explanation there for the change in the Scuba III, but I'm still primarily a Scuba II girl anyway so unless an amazing color turns up (like Bark Berry!), I'll likely pass.

  6. wow loving that white jacket - glad i held off on fleecy keen for a practical jacket I can wear in winter. Love the CRB colour - though I was hoping for solid bon bon....i have not bought anything in a while - looks like it will be expensive this week!

  8. OT but i just rec'd a crb from one of the selling sites - and lady thought it is beach blanket blue - anyway, it has a tiny square with the size on it as a tag - I have always seen rip tags (or not but the stitching from when they were attached) - I have only been into LLL from a year and a bit - so not familiar with old style crbs - do you remember crbs with these types of tags from years ago? Thanks for your feedback

  9. Forgot to mention it is a shiny satiny tiny white square with tiny size 4 marked on it.

    2. I have a couple of Swiftly tops from around two or three years ago with a small satiny tiny white square tag with the size number on it too. Perhaps they were trying out something new at the time. Glad they didn't keep them though - I prefer having no tags at all in the clothes, I rip out the riptags right away. Also really dislike the tagless printed on info some brands use on their clothes, it always ends up wearing off unevenly and is ratty looking and irritating on skin. Love the tag system Lulu uses now, hope they keep it this way.

  10. Well crap. Hoping to save a little more money but looks like that's not going to happen this week.

  11. I'll buy the vest, I just wish I knew to size regular or up. I usually buy size up in jackets but the rulu on the sides makes me think I can do my regular size. I've been eyeing a nike vest (golf) that is gorgeous but I love this one more. The CRB, I'm a pink girl and I might need but going back and forth on it.

  12. Off topic. The other day i bought the naval blue cotton wu roll down there was a full size run. Today all gone! i went to order a second size just incase and they have removed it theres only heathered black now. I did notice that there is naval blue wu in cotton high rise full size run. Was that there befor? Are they the same pants?

  13. I like all three of the Down for a Run items. I love the green. But I have last year's Alberta Lake vest so another green vest for me, probably not. Would buy it in the jacket though. Would not buy white in anything, regardless of how sharp it looks. I always hold back on down pullovers, maybe will consider this one. All need a try on and examination of quality anyway. I will not rush to but any of them. I'm very patient and have self control. I already have sufficient clothes for winter running. I don't need the latest things right away but I usually get them eventually. And I don't give into the mentality of FOMO.

I don't have a raspberry glo CRB or other bright pink, despite how they inundated us in years past. I'll need to see/feel the quality and if it is insanely bright I will pass.

    1. Yay for having common sense, patience and self control! I'm working on all of this and happy to say I'm doing very well.

  14. I'm really not liking the slit in the back hem on the Down for a Run pullover! I'm curvy on the bottom and that thing would always be gaped open.

    1. I'm thinking the same for myself.

    2. Good point! I hadn't really looked that closely until you mentioned. It kinda ruins it. Why'd they do that especially for a winter item?!

  15. The down for a run pullover looks like the fluff off pullover I've been stalking on eBay for years. I'm thrilled and in like Flynn the second it uploads!

  16. Wondering if you are familiar with the Apex jacket (white/blue interior) from years ago....wondering if it is a warm jacket (I don't think it has down) --- and if LLL has had anything similar since these jackets? I am contemplating buying one but wanted to know a bit more about them - there isn't much info other that they are from 2008 - not sure I want a jacket that is 7 years old.....but it is in pristine condition - probably not worn so as not to dirty it - LOL I have some white tops that I love but rarely wear because I am afraid to dirty them. Silly really!
