The Breath Deeply Cardigan in Charcoal and the Practice Pants (strait leg with pockets/luon). I think a trip to the lab is in order soon as I'm really liking the stream lined look of this cardigan. I also love that it's organic cotton and not a high maintenance knit that always tends to be itchy on me.
On another note, I stopped in at the outlet today to try on the Black Bomber Jacket to see if I would like that one better than the Aurdey and because the inside liner is Monogram (lulu logo) print it's much thinner and more of a spring jacket.
Great pockets and ribbed cotton elbow patches
The ribbed cotton at the back upper shoulders reminds me of the Gratitude Wrap. In this picture you can also see the embossed black logo.
That is a nice cardi - I think I am headed to the lab tomorrow!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it, too. Looks like a very versatile piece
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think of the bomber jacket other than it being lighter weight?
ReplyDeleteThe Audrey is too much for me to spend on a fall/spring jacket (waaay too cold here to use it in winter) but the bomber might be perfect.
Also I saw on facebook that you said you saw the following at the outlet:
I was just there and saw size 8 black bomber jackets for $150, swiftly tanks, wunder unders, pima cotton t shirts. hardly any bras and some cheer gear hoodies in size 8 and smaller.
What wunder unders and pimas were there???
I liked the Bomber, it looked really cute on but it was too dark for me. If I hadn't seen the Audrey then the bomber would have been a HUGE find for me. The inside was monogram (terry cloth lulu logos) and not the fleecy inside of the Audrey or tweed bombers so I would consider the bomber more of a spring/early fall weight and the Audrey is a winter weight (for BC). the original price for the bomber was $199 so not a huge price difference between the Audrey.
ReplyDeleteTHe wunder unders where nothing great. There was a fushia like pink and I think Angel blues and lavenders. The Pimas were SS loose fit ones and not the 5yrs or the Moderns. I forgot there was also Light it Up bras not marked down by much and many of the lIght it up items (skirts/short).
^not sure why the intense debate comments is not enabled in this post, probably just a glitch, but the rest of the posts seem fine.
ReplyDeleteI got the cardi - but am not sure about it now that I have it at home! It is big!!! I think the girl in the pic must be wearing a size 2!!!
ReplyDeleteAnyone else make the purchase and have any thoughts? I am tall - 5'11 - but it seems sooo long, and am not sure it is very flattering.....
Who knows, I loved it in the lab, now at home.....?? don't know what to do......
I find a lot of lab items are size down items. perhaps a size down or two would have fit you perfectly. I would post it on the exchange page for what you paid + taxes. there are a lot of people that would love to have there hands on lab items but don't have the opportunity.
