I didn't order any of the new upload items today but I did order a random pop back of the lucent tank that came up in only my size. I half suspect it was a glitch and not a pop back but I've had a lot of luck with random pop backs lately. First I got the Deep Sea Speed Wunder Tights on a pop back, then the Down For It Vest in black, and now this Lucent Tank. Unfortunately I caught it on my smart phone app so I didn't get a chance to use my ebates discount. Boo to that!
**I'm seeing a lot of other things pop back on the website. Lots of summer crops, Restore Short Sleeve Tee, metallic lumatrix tights and many more items.
There where several items today that I liked. I'm really disappointed that the Nocturnal Teal Fast And Free 7/8 Tights didn't upload. I'd made up my mind that I want them and now I have to go back to the store to get them. I also like the Outrun 1/2 Zip but since I ordered the tank I opted not to order this pullover. The Don't Sweat It Kit is really appealing to me but I have two previous designs of toiletries bags and although I love them and find them highly functional, I don't need a third. Not at full price at least. I continue to be annoyed and bothered by the Nocturnal Teal Cool Racerback II. I love the color, hate the tank. So close to what I want, yet so far. If I was flush with money I'd order the Fleece Please Joggers. I like the cut of them a lot and when I felt them in store today they where incredibly soft (yet very thin).
Did you guys order anything today? Have you had any pop backs luck over the past few months?

Seeing that teal CRB II is frustrating. Would have purchased the original CRB in that color in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet two more CRBs I *would* have bought had it been the original CRB and not the CRB II! That's at least 5 now.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree with you. Gorgeous colors! I am so disgusted with Lululemon right now.
Deletei wonder what prpmpted Lulu to change the way they add reflective stripes to run pants. the fast and free pants now have small dots to replace what would normally have been a long thin stripe of reflective material. i dont like it; looks too old navy or nike-esk. #bringbackthestripe!
ReplyDelete*sigh* I haven't pulled the trigger on anything in weeks. Most of this stuff looks pretty basic. I also wish there were more variation in the temperature range of the gear Lulu puts out. I have enough mid-weight jackets/vests/pullovers, so I really can't justify buying too many more. Maybe I'm in the minority but I would totally buy something more technical, waterproof, geared toward more extreme weather. I'll buy a couple pair of the tech tights probably, but they haven't sold out yet so I'm hoping they'll go on WMTM.
ReplyDeleteYes me too!!!! Purchased the brushed speeds last week but was really hoping for some soft shell pants or something more.
DeleteA raincoat! My kingdom for a real life running raincoat that actually keeps me dry. I'm amenable to running in Seattle's winter rain. But I'd pay >100$ for something that actually kept me dry on those runs.
DeleteIf you just need a basic waterproof running shell look at North Face or Marmot. The Marmot Precip jacket is great for running in the rain and completely waterproof. North Face has a similar one (trying to remember the name) that's also waterproof. Both run about $99 or so.
DeleteIn my experience, North Face waterproof shells do not breathe nearly as well as other brands.
DeleteAny suggestions for soft shell pants?Looking for something for winter walks or hiking. I purchased a pair of Roxy pants and while I love the look (straight leg) I have to size up like crazy. Purchased M (my size) exchanged for L and now I think even XL might not fit. LOL
DeleteI've actually had really good luck with REI's house brand soft shell stuff. Wait for a sale because it's usually pretty well discounted.
DeleteAs for raincoats (I'm 9:17 anon) I actually own a Marmot Precip and running in it is like running in a garbage bag. I guess maybe it's just a question of if I want to be rain wet or sweaty wet.
I like the fast & free tight (I love nulux) but I'll have to try it on before I pull the trigger.
ReplyDeleteI bought 2 plum fringe fighters. I wear these for every hot class I take and my girls have started wearing mine for sports. They are hit or miss available at this point and I'm afraid they might go away. I would love the teal energy bra but I'll just wait on it.
ReplyDeleteoff topic: i'm wondering if you are an american that now lives in canada? i noticed that you spell words like "colour" the american way. just wondering!
ReplyDeletelol, no. I spell it color but it gets autocorrected and I don't always catch it. adding the 'u' looks odd to me.
DeleteWas that another auto correct? Color is the American spelling. Colour is the Canadian.
DeleteThe real question is: who cares?
Deleteahh i didn't even think of autocorrect, makes sense! thanks for taking the time to answer :)
Deleteanon @10:53, you're rude.
I live in Canada and always have and have always spelled it color...I'm not sure if I know of anyone who spells it colour :)
DeleteI spell it colour and have noticed many other comments on here with it spelled the same. I'm pretty sure it is spelled colour in every other country in English language except for USA, with some exceptions of course, like anon 4:41 :)
DeleteNothing in this drop catching my interest. I am glad you snagged the DFAR vest on pop back, I waited too long to pull the trigger on the Inkwell one and now they are gone. I see a few oldies online, the grey On the Double pullover at full price. I bought the bordeaux one on pop back a few months ago on WMTM. I would have been interested in the Fleece Please Jogger but I want thick not thin fleece at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI am not very optimistic there will be much catching my interest this winter after seeing your pics from the Winter Look Book.
Can you comment on whether nocturnal teal looks like inkwell
ReplyDeleteIt's similar tone but with green undertones. It's definitely a very dark teal but I can see similarity to Inkwell, just greener.
DeleteThank you and thanks for all you do...love your blog
Deleteuh oh... I LOVE nocturnal teal. Haven't bought anything in months but I might haul this...
ReplyDeleteI have been waiting months for a nice solid colour in the Pace Rival crops and now we have one. BUT... it's almost winter so not sure if I will pull the trigger or not.
ReplyDeleteNothing for me this time. I need a jacket, but not going to invest into non-down item.
ReplyDeleteI might check out the fleece joggers in store. I could use a new pair of track pants with a decent cut. Most look so sloppy on me. Also, black cherry is hard to resist. Love that colour. The rest is a pass for me although I agree with the above comments, I would have bought 5 or 6 of the CRBs if it was the original. I have no use for the "revised" version.
ReplyDeleteI really don't understand why Lulu keeps releasing 2-3 shades of a very similar color (e.g. Darkest magenta, plum and black cherry and nocturnal real and Alberta lake). It makes it SO hard too coordinate things since they aren't different enough to contrast but too different to match!
ReplyDeletei know, it's ridiculous! they do it all the time too.
DeleteMy oddball theory is that they intended to have all uniform colors, but then ended up with defective color batches on large quantities of fabric. So they just rename the off-target colors and throw those up for sale as well...
DeleteFast & Free tight checked all my boxes for a workout crop... 7/8 length, non-Luon, side pockets... I bought it to try. Loved the feel of the nulux Like Nothing pant that came out first but told myself I had to wait for one with pockets.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for WMTM. Nothing I actually need so will wait and see if I still feel like I want anything then if it gets marked down enough to feel like a good deal. On stuff that's overpriced now at regular price I don't find it to be a good enough of a deal to justify a 'want only' purchase when it's just marked down to a more reasonable and fair price - it's just what it should be at regular price, imo - it's easy to get used to seeing the overpriced prices and then think it's a great deal when it hits WMTM at a more fair price. If I really actually needed something though being marked down to a more reasonable and fair price would be enough to justify a purchase though. Well, anyway, that's my philosophy on the matter ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good way to rationalize before purchasing. The price increases do skew what seems cheap like 88$ for a crop seems okay next to a $118 tight but both are still expensive.
DeleteThe perforated holes in the Run For Cold looks crappy and cheap to me. Never mind the styling of the items is just awful. Makes me sad I didn't buy the DFAR jacket last year. I was hoping for a re-release of that one but doesn't look like it will happen.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it's time to move on over to Athleta. They are knocking it out this season with their patterns and prints and their jackets are cute and priced well.
Lulumum - Get the ebates app and you can apply your ebates to your app purchases :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is really annoying is that there's no wmtm on Ebates app. You have to make a search for women's . And for men's you can't use your phone to order from wmtm through ebates. Has to be iPad or laptop
ReplyDeleteReally? I order from my phone using the ebates link all the time. Both regular and WMTM. Men's and womens. Weird.
DeleteI received my Ombré WU. So bummed that the whole Obmre effect is scranched around my ankles:( I am 5"3-5"4. Why would they make HT in this beautiful color?? LULULEMON NOT EVERYBODY IS 6 FEET TALL OR EVEN 5"9!!! Get real , most of the women are between 5"4 and 5"6 and these pants are too long
ReplyDeleteI got the ombre in the black color. I am 5'6" and the effect begins at my knees. It is quite noticeable. I was worried that the effect may be lost on me and that the pants would be long but they are the same as my other wunder unders. The fabric is very nice but the black does have a very slight blue hue to it - I assume this is from the dying process.
DeleteI'm anon 12:28. I meant why wouldn't they make HT instead of WU. I'm not saying these are longer than other WU. I don't usually buy WU bc they are too long. I bought these only bc of Ombre, but it's almost not visible on me due to length
DeleteAnon 12:29 thanks so much for your review. I wanted to try the ombre pants on but I'm only 5'2" and now I'll pass. (:
DeleteOT ...but anyone know if the dusty mauve obscured black WUC are see through?
ReplyDeleteMine were completely opaque and they are beautiful to wear!
