I am told there will be significantly more this year as far as markdowns compared to previous years. I think we all anticipated that but it was interesting to hear that stores are getting massive amounts of markdown inventory.

Just out of curiosity LLM do you wait until Cyber Monday to do your online shopping or do you get what you can on Black Friday?
ReplyDeleteI tend to do my first priority strike online on Friday. I feel like the Cyber Monday deals really start on Friday and go till Monday. I'm going to try and get the Clinique Take It Off Duo, Living Proof and Alterna hair care sets (perfect for gym bag and travel) and maybe the Lancome for my mom and Jack Black set for my husbands stocking.

DeleteLast year I waited for 3am eastern but I they didn't load, they ended up being uploaded at a random 8am hour on Friday and I remember there being a lot of disgruntled chatter on the blogs/twitter. i got most of my holiday beauty holiday shopping done during vib rouge sale so anything I happen to grab on bfriday is a bonus in my books. Def not banking on anything since it's an unreliable sale imo
DeleteYep they sell out within an hour or so and to be honest the deals weren't that great. Most of The items that I are received were smaller sizes.
ReplyDeleteI'm ok with the smaller sizes. I love them for travel and gym bags. I got the 100 point clinique take the day off cleansing balm and really liked it so I will probably get that set. I like that it comes with a tiny mascara which I find useful. They are also great for friend gifts and little stocking stuffer gifts.
DeleteI've been getting these black Friday sets since Sephora started doing these and there's always some steals there! I just order them online right when they release and never had any sell out. Definitely no different than snagging a highly coveted Lulu item. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lulumum! This is my first year planning to do Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping at Lululemon. What's the best way to approach it? There are 2 lululemon stores where I live (one in a mall, one in a shopping center) and there is a lulu outlet less than an hour away! Which do you think would be the best bet for finding deals? Are the sales in store the same as online? I'm wondering if I should wait for them to upload WMTM on Thursday? Would it be a larger upload than usual? Sorry for all the questions, Thanks!
