The word has caught on in the last few months along with #healthgoth and I was laughing about it's sudden overuse the other day. It was an attempt to be funny.
"Athleisure " is a term being coined more and more. The latest: Athleta (I suppose, in attempt to compete w/ Lulu's "To-Go" & streetwear lines is reported to have teamed up with high-end fashion designer Derek Lam so that an "elevated," fashionable technical wear may be offered come this Fall. How this will fare we shall see. Anyway, "athleisure" may apply to a "geeky" me...a mommy who thrives on comfort with stain-free/dry-clean & iron- free, hassle-free clothing. I am expanding my horizons beyond technical wear....so your using the term gives me a sweet chuckle :o)
Yesterday I spotted Naval Blue High Times. Gorgeous . More Nylon (/minimal-to-none polyester content as I recall )content, opaque, and soft. Went home without it..but then called the store and ordered it promptly this AM for charge/ship. Reminescent of the Black Swan colorway (Naval Blue has a less purplish tinge) and the Deep Indigo Mirage colorway from a few years back. Of course, I "needed" the High-Times in Naval Blue as I missed out on the Inkwell ones...although I was trying not to cave-in but I did ...
The sea mist straps are pretty much same colour as my rockie road ftbw with toothpaste straps. Since u only see straps I can see use of having 2 ftbw with same strap colours
I don't know but I tried on the street to studio pant the other day in my store and liked it . I am short though and it is a 27 ' inseam so worked for me. I didn't find the ankles tight as some people have been saying in other reviews. However, the butt was really baggy and I just didn't love them enough to take them home. I think it is because there is a cold weather warning where I live (Ont.) and I didn't feel like purchasing something so thin in material!
Does anyone know if there will be crops in the white cyber stripe fabric of the ftbw bra with the sea mist straps? It has a bit of texture to it. I am really liking it as an alternative to all white crops. I hope I didn't miss it in Canada's upload last tuesday
I just got that FTBWild bra in store today. It's super pretty. The white and gray is pretty muted and the sea spray is a nice aqua color.
