New Product Colors "Static Coal Large Static Wave Stripe"

It looks like the fall pattern is this "SCLW" of the Stride I bought this weekend. Lululemon Coquitlam has a wall of new Push Your Limit tanks in two variations of this pattern (I think one had Grey straps and one had the White straps Black but now I can't remember what the difference was...toddler tantrum going on), Flow Y bra, Power Y tank, Boogie shorts and of course the Stride in the brushed Luon which I love.  I really like this pattern because it goes with all colors from the summer pallet and the new fall colors which is why I chose to get this Stride instead of waiting for the Wish one. I like the versatility of this pattern. The colors on the Boogie shorts may be a hint of colors to come. Looks like a new Kelly like green, Oasis like color, a  deeper orange and chirp like yellow and cool blue is in there. What colors do you think those are?

  1. That is a long name... what are your thoughts on the new zipper pull?

  2. The new zipper pull is probably the only thing I don't like about it. Mostly because I like the hair ties better. I have some spare ones at home that I can put on it so it's not a big deal for me.

  3. Good to know that the zipper pull is removable and that it can be replaced with the hair tie version, which everyone seems to love.

  4. Did you own a stride jacket prior to buying this? I have an older black one that I love but I always have a difficult time getting it zipped up. Since it has two zippers it takes me sometimes 3 minutes after my workout at the gym to get it zipped. It drives me crazy. It doesn't seem that it should be that hard to get your jacket zipped. I have 5 defines and 1 stride and am leary about buying another stride for this reason.

  5. I have an Angel Blue one which I really like but I find the Luon less tempting to wear when I need a jacket so I favour the Free2Be's, although in warmer weather or misty rain the Stride is better. The zipper is a bit fussier (same with the WWA) because it's a double sided one but it's not fussy enough for me to have really noticed it so maybe it's worth taking yours in to get looked at, maybe it doesn't line up properly. Not really sure how to wear the lower zipper part opened because to me it just looks funny that way. Unsure why they include that. Take that out and lower the price of the product a bit.

  6. I really like those tanks... Have you ever tried any of that style on?

  7. I'm so glad I didn't go crazy with the loot a few days ago... I figured there would be new stuff coming in - I am glad I waited!

Did you get to try the jersey? do you think it's a size up type of top so it won't be too clingy?

  8. Not yet. I think it's a very flattering style with the large arms straps. I think if your larger up top (bust or arms) the wider straps works better than a really thin strap. It's cut very nicely. Also, usually I shy away from horizontal stripes because they can easily add volume, but I would suggest trying this pattern out because it's a nice thickness stripe and is pretty flattering as well.

  9. I am so glad I didn't get any loot - I like the new collection... Did you get to try on any of the jerseys? do you think you'd have to size up so it won't be so hugging on the tummy?

  10. I know me too. None of the stuff I wanted ended up in loot around here (do it all shorts, seek the peek shorts) so I was happy about that.

I tried on the size 12 jersey and was happy at how it looked on, not clingy at all. So that was a size up from my 10 which I didn't try on so I don't know the comparison. I think if you have a very flat and firm tummy you can stay true to size.

  11. No stride jackets yet in my store but I caved and got Nancy, the lulu shopper, to pick one up for me. Can't wait to get it. I stayed TTS as in my other stride jackets. I noted you sized down. How roomy is it?

  12. I sized down to an 8 because I'm in the process of loosing baby weight and have actually just started to see some movement on the scale after about 3 months of running (no dieting). The 8 fits well and doesn't look small but it is fitted. the arms are plenty roomy. I have the 10 in Angel blue and that one almost feels boxy now.
Nancy is awesome and you'll love your stride.
