Alarming, Oasis & River Rock.
* For some reason in this product notice of the Oasis/River Rock Stride you can't see the River Rock detailing. Actually the hoodie pulls are the thicker satin in River Rock and the inside of the hood is River Rock. The zipper pull is that three stack of rings but this one is neat because it's 3 different shades of blue.
Dang, so the new Stides are out. I saw the Sport Grey + Alarming one that I had posted last week as a sneak peek and the one that I had posted that looked like Lagoon was actually Oasis with River Rock trim. Very beautiful colors and I was soooo very close to getting one but I was on a mommy play date with a friend who is not a Lulu Lover so I didn't feel the peer pressure. Normally I'm drawn to the Blues but I tried on the Sport Grey with Alarming (Sport Grey looks almost like a kaki grey) and the Alarming was so striking and pretty, especially with dark brown hair. I had to remind myself why I chose to go with the neutral stripe one (goes with everything) and that if I got the Oasis or Alarming ones I'd have to actually think about what I'm putting on under it. Plus I really love the brushed Luon. Although the Sport Grey+Alarming comes in that silky Luon with added polyester which I also like. I do like the Oasis and River Rock, specifically River Rock but I think I like Wish better. I always seem to change my mind about colors anyways so by next week i'll think Oasis is where it's at. My family calls me a Magpie because I collect pretty things in colors that attract me and bring them back to my nest.
I also spotted an full on Alarming (hehe) Define and a Coal Define with Citron detailing. Flow Y Bra's in Alarming and Oasis as well as an Oasis CRB Tank. I must say I prefer the Alarming as an accent color much the same as Faded Zap so I may pick up a Flow Y to use on my new V necks in Oatmeal and Coal. I saw some "new"old tanks called Inner Strength in Oasis/River Rock and white but there was nothing else new in the running department so I ran out before I could change my mind about the Strides.
oh my. Oasis is my favourite colour ever and I think I need to hide my wallet now.
ReplyDeleteperhaps 'forget' my creditcards at home on my next trip to Lululemon.!
Be strong! Stay away from the computer on Thursday because I know that's going to be my trouble spot.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to get a CRB in oasis. I'm not liking the alarming. It's too orange/red for me. I don't think I'll be buying anything in that color.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned you might be a flow y for your vneck. I just tried the vneck on and will probably go back and get it tomorrow. It wasn't as low as I thought but definitely a flow y would show. Is that how it fit on you? I had to size down from my 5yr pima size.
ReplyDeleteYes that's how it fits me with the Flow Y. I sized down from my 5yr as well and it fits perfectly. my 5yrs are 10's and the vneck an 8. I haven't tried it with another bra yet but I think I would feel most comfortable with the FlowY underneath or something similar.
ReplyDeleteI posted a few down about the fit of the vneck if you want to check that out...and I included a personal picture of how it fits.
Thanks for mentioning your fit review. I did read it but that was before I went and tried it on. I wish the older posts would stay on the same page & you just scroll down to see it. I completely forgot you had posted it. After trying mine on your review was identical. I'm glad you mentioned they come in 2. The 4 was a bit loose. I'm never a 2 but asked them if it came in it to compare and they told me no. Maybe they had sold out, they did mention they were selling like crazy, along with the flashback pullovers (which I am not interested in).
ReplyDeleteI know, it's a pain because sometimes I have several postings in a day so the first few get lost. I just adjusted the settings though so you should be able to see a whole days worth of postings on one page. I would save all my ideas for the evening and post all at once but with the too little ones I have to post when the inspiration hits me or the thoughts are gone forever ;D
