I haven't tried this tank on because I wouldn't use it for running and for street wear it just doesn't appeal to me. I've wondered about the adjustable bra band in it though and just found this picture of it. My very first impression is that it looks like it would be really uncomfortable and dig in with that metal clasp right against the ribs. Have you tried this on or own one and care to share your opinion of this clasp?
So far the verdict is that this is a really comfortable tank and the clasp does not dig in.
I wonder what makes Lulu choose which tanks to bring back in new colors. So far we've seen the Hip Halter come back this season as well as this Inner Strength Tank and the Push Your Limits Tank. I wonder if it's random or if they have colors selected and then look for old styles that would suit the new palette combination. Or maybe they just notice a trend in what sports people are involved in and find a tank to suit that particular need.
When it first came out in Spring, some people commented on FB, that they couldn't feel the bra clasp and it was very comfortable.
ReplyDeletei have both the inner strength tank and the sun salutation tank and i don't notice it (the clasp is made of plastic, not metal)
ReplyDeletebonus - also makes it easier to get the tank off :)
I have four Inner Strength Tanks! It's a fantastic all-around tank, and I can't feel the bra clasp at all. I agree with the previous commenter that the adjustable bra band makes the tank much easier to get out of. No post-workout fights with a too-tight sweaty tank, LOL!
ReplyDeletewell now I have to try this tank out. I seem to sometimes through my neck out when I fight with my sweaty Flow Y's and other sports bras. Huge pet peeve of mine. Is this a top with the same amount of support as a Flow Y at least so that it can be used for running?
ReplyDelete*throw my neck out.
