Dance Crop: Personal Fit & Detailing

This is how they fit around the calf. Very pretty, too bad I couldn't get a better shot of the detailing with this junky camera. Also excuse the crayon marked mirror and unpainted yucky runners toes.

And another one for the team. Since I discussed the waist I decided to show it to you. POST baby belly and all. And yes I am sucking it in!!!

  1. It looks like a high waist but you mentioned below it's medium rise. Can you compare the rise to another pant? I know you said you can roll them down but with it up are they the same rise a groove or wunder groove? These look really cute. I think I'll have to see if my store received them yet.

  3. The hang tag says it's medium rise but I would say these are slightly higher than the WUnder Grooves. Maybe it's a medium when you roll it down once.

The difference with the Wunder Grooves is that the WG's have some structured paneling in the waist were as these don't. I've been wearing them around for about an hour and I haven't had to hike these up so I think the thinness is pretty deceiving. I'm sitting down right now and the waist is over my belly button.

  4. So would you ladies where these crops in the fall/winter? I just don't want to buy any more summer things that wont transition well..

  6. If you are warm enough to wear them in winter then I say why not!

  7. I would wear them through fall but then switch to pants when it was cold enough. They look really good on you. Are you keeping them? I love how you said you've had them on for an hour now. I thought I was the only one that would wear it for a short time with the tag on before I made my decision. I did this with the half moon crops and realized they were too tight around my calves and made marks where there was stitching. I've never had that happen with any of the other crops. Needless to say they went back the next day.

  8. I wouldn't dance in these crops, but I would wear them year round. I love the higher rise and the option to fold it down. I love lululemon's 'dance' line even tho I'm not a dancer because of how they use their lighter luons, meshes, gather details, non-reflective logos, and how the 'dance' line is effortlessly feminine =).
we have relatively mild winters in BC and these would look cute with winter boots and a long (warm) sweater or sweater dress..!
    in short: keep them!!
