About Me

Hi there! I guess you clicked on this page because your wondering who I am. I'm a 30 year old mom of two girls (soon to be one and three years old respectively) and wife to one man (haha!) living in Lululemon Land in beautiful Vancouver BC. Enter the blog, an excuse to procrastinate. Fascinating? No? Ok, well I also blog because I find it therapeutic since I'm a stay at home mom and I spend hours of my day entirely surrounded by little peoples. So between playdates and playgrounds and breakfast, snacks and lunch snacks, dinner and Tree House I update this blog several times a day with new product info and reviews from Lululemon as it comes in...to keep me from going stir crazy.   Other then collecting Lululemon and blogging my hobbies include running (you can follow my half marathon training posts over here) and Bikrams Yoga as well as about 20 other things. I seem to always have a few hobbies on the go and turn into a real nerd about everything.

FAQ

Favourite Color: Wish Blue..and.. (I find it hard to narrow down my favourites), Power Purple, Rubber Ducky. Plum, Heathered Fox, Stitch, Mudd, Wish and Plum. Heathered Poison Ivy is my newest obsession

How long have you been a fan of Lululemon?  I've had a few items from Lululemon since the beginning in 2000  (Luon pants and Remix/Scuba hoodies are staples here in Vancouver) but I officially started a collection in 2009-2010 when I became a stay at home mom and my work clothes budget was turned into a stay at home mom work clothes budget and also when I needed to outfit myself for running and hot yoga endeavors. What triggered the passion was being able to go into a store and find exactly what I needed for running, hot yoga and pregnancy but in colors and designs that I actually also liked as street wear. I remember when I actually started to feel a little obsessed. I was around 7 or 8 months pregnant and had purchased Still Pants and Lulu Pants. When I went back to pick them up from being hemmed I discovered how perfect the Modern Racer tanks were over my ginormous belly. And then I stopped in a 3rd time on the hunt for post c-section recovery clothes and purchased a Canada Cheer Gear hoodie (since I was having an Olympic baby) and an 'Eh!' Canada Pima Tee shirt. And then  6 weeks after my c-section I was ready to start my running program and went back in search of crops, tanks, pullovers, socks and sports bra. and that was when it officially went from a few random pieces to a collection.

Do you you only wear Lululemon? Since I'm a stay at home mom I don't require a lot of 'dressy up' clothes but I do still enjoy buying pretty dressy items once in a while. Pretty much most of my casual wear and technical wear come from Lululemon and the brands I like for when I'm feeling fancy are Aritzia (another born in Vancouver company), Banana Republic and Anthropology. I also love nail polish and skincare so another favourite store is Sephora.

Check back soon..this is a work in progress...in the meantime, if you a have any questions for me feel free to add them in the comments section.
